Departure

After saying goodbye to Ressa I disappeared then after some time I woke up in my room in the palace. I stood up sitting on the bed . I looked around and the room seemed quiet which brought a sense of calmness to me , then looked at my right I noticed a blue head resting on the bed while sitting on a chair , I knew who is this , it's Alice , she passed out on the bed because of the shock and that made me really sorry for making her going through this again especially after her grandfather death , well I will apologize after she wake up .

 I caressed her hair with my hand for some time until I saw traces of her waking up .

( Third person pov )

Alice woke up as she sensed someone caressing her hair , the hand that caressing her was warm and brought to her a sense of calmness and satisfaction , then she realized something and opened her eyes wide and raised her head to see a blacked haired golden eyes handsome man looking at her with a warm smile .

Seeing Daniel looking at her with a smile while caressing her hair , tears began to fall and then turned to cry as she hugged him tightly while crying .

" DAN ! "

Daniel reciprocated the hug as he was happy that she seemed to be alright .

" * Sigh * I was worried about her but she seems to be alright as the turmoil in her mind seems to disappear " Daniel said inwardly while caressing Alice's back .

After some time Alice seemed to be unseparated from Daniel but Daniel didn't say anything as he could feel his wet shirt because of the tears .

" I'm sorry Alice ! " Daniel said with an apologetic look .

Then Alice raised her head and looked at Daniel with tears at the corners of eyes threatening to fall .

" You made me worried jerk ! I thought I lost you "

" I'm sorry for that , I didn't even know what happened to me at that time "

Alice kept looking at him without saying a word then they heard a knock on the door .

Knock ~ Knock

" Come in " Daniel said with a calm voice .

The door opened and Sebas entered with a person I white coat , he has brown hair and black eyes wearing a spectacles that was in a circular shape fitting him well .

" Greetings Master Daniel , Miss Alice ! " Sebas said with a bow .

" Hey Sebas " Daniel said

" Hello Sebas , did you get him "

Sebas nodded and said " yes miss Alice " then he stepped aside letting the new person to come forward .

" Hello Master Daniel, Miss Alice " He said with a bow .

And Daniel nodded and Alice as well who separated herself from Daniel and sat on the chair while holding Daniel's hand from the moment she heard the knock .

Then the person came near the bed and stood there while Sebas brought a chair for him to sit on . After sitting on the chair , he said " Maybe you don't know me as this the first time we met but lady Alice knows me well , my name is Alvin the personal doctor of Grey family, pleasured to meet you "

" The pleasure is mine mister Alvin , I'm Daniel Caressil "

He nodded to Daniel and said " Excuse me " then he took his hand to check Daniel's pulse and after a while he nodded and said " your pulse is good and you seem have no fever or caught cold or any critical issues " .

Hearing this Alice sighed a sign of relief then doctor Alvin said " But I require your help to make a soul check "

" Okay , you have my cooperation "

" Thanks , then let's get started "

The hands of the doctor became surrounded by a white light that was faint then he put it on Daniel forehead. That light was soul magic , a very rare a magic that is hard to learn , the people who learned it can be counted on fingers , anyway , Daniel felt an uncomfortable feeling as he felt that something invading his soul making him want to get ride of the that invader , but then Daniel heard the voice of the doctor .

" Don't fight that feeling , that's my magic , I'm just check if there is any damage in your soul "

Daniel nodded , and didn't fight the feeling and let do as he want . I didn't take a long as after a minute the feeling disappeared and Alvin took his hands away from Daniel , then he said with a reassuring smile " There is nothing wrong with your should master Daniel , everything is alright it was just a headache that caused all of this so don't worry "

" Ohhh! That's good , that's  good " Alice said with a smile of relief .

" Thank you Doctor Alvin "

" Anytime Master "

Then he bowed again and went out of the room , then Daniel looked at Alice .

" Alice , I need to tell you something important " Daniel said a serious look .

Alice looked at him with the same look and nodded .

" okay , what is it ?! "

" my power is incomplete whether it is my power as mage , knight or as a holder of reality element , so I need to master all of them as there are powerful enemies ahead of us who are more powerful than me and you , and don't forget the outsiders that are threatening out world "

" So what do you want to do ? " Alice said with a hint of worry .

" In order to master all of them I need to go in a certain dungeon that will help me in achieving it " Daniel said with a warm smile .

" Then I'm coming with you " Alice said while holding his hand tightly . The worry and panic was evident on her face .

Daniel shook his head and said " I can't as it will be dangerous and I'm afraid you will be hurt "

" then if it is dangerous why are you going and leaving me alone " tears were threatening to fall when Alice said that .

" Look Alice , I'm not leaving you alone , I will come back again , there is no way I'm leaving you alone "

" then why leaving , you can take me with you and we can become stronger together " at this point Alice was crying .

" I need to go through this alone otherwise I will not grow stronger "

Alice objected on Daniel decision and he tried to convince her over and over again until Sebas interrupted

" Young lady , please understand him , this journey is necessary for him to grow stronger and if you went with him you would hinder him as he will be worried about your safety all the time "

Alice wanted to object but after contemplating things she was convinced, then she looked at Daniel and said with determination .

" I will allow you going to your journey BUT DON'T YOU DARE NOT COMING BACK OR LEAVING ME OTHERWISE I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN DANIEL CARESSIL AS YOU ARE MINE AND MINE ALONE , UNDERTOOD ? "

Hearing this Daniel was relieved at the first part but at the second part he felt a shiver down his spine and vowed to definitely come back otherwise hell awaits him at the end of the tunnel .

" Yes Ma'am " Daniel said with a tone of soldier listening to the orders .

" Very well " Alice nodded in satisfaction.

" Sebas ! "

" Yes young master "

" prepare the necessary things for a long journey "

" as you wish " he said and went out to do what he asked .

" How long will it take ? " Alice said .

" Well it will take 3 years at most "

" okay I will wait , I will go to academy soon anyway "

" oh ! It's the time for the academy, time runs fast "

" Yeah it is "

For instance, the academy begins at the age of 15 and end at 21 .

" well , if anyone tries to woo you just kill him on the spot otherwise they will go through something worse than death itself "

" Hhahah , you are overprotective " Alice said while giggling .

" Of course, I won't let anyone come near you dear , you are mine after all "

" heheheh same goes for you "

" We will see "

Daniel said while looking at the hologram in front of him with contemplating look .

" DANIEL ! " Alice said with threatening tone and eyes filled with flames .

Daniel panicked and said quickly " I will , I will dear "

She smiled warmly " that's good , h..honey " she said the last word with flushed face then she covered her face in an attempt to hide her embarrassment .

" Hahahahahah "

" DON'T LAUGH AT ME " She said with red face due to her embarrassment.

" I love you Alice "

Alice felt her heart beating crazily and face warmed up due to it , then she smiled , a smile filled with love and obsession

" love you too Dan! "

' I love hearing her voice when saying these words ' He said inwardly.
