He murmured this to himself as Leonard and Klein concluded their conversation. Lin Ruo then caught up with Klein, floating silently behind him, and followed him to the underground area of Blackthorn Security Company. Upon entering the underground area, Lin Ruo used his badge to conceal himself in a secret state.

After all, there was still a member of the Secret Order following Klein, likely a lower Sequence Seer. With their divination abilities, they could potentially see spiritual entities once they opened their spiritual vision. Lin Ruo didn't want to startle the pursuer.

In his secret state, Lin Ruo followed Klein back to the church through the underground area. When they left the church again, Klein sensed the prying eyes once more and assumed his act, casually strolling.

Simultaneously, Lin Ruo felt the gaze directed at them or rather, at Klein, from a distance. He immediately scanned the area, quickly locking onto the observer.

"I just hypnotized him and used some extraordinary abilities," Lin Ruo replied with a smile before adding casually, "By the way, Klein, I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. I'm the Chosen of the Goddess. I hope you're not upset."

Klein was taken aback, his lips pursed. He wasn't angry, but there was a hint of unease in his heart. After all, he understood that Lin Ruo had no obligation to reveal his status as the Chosen One.

Just like you, you're also the Chosen One of the Goddess, did you know?"

It took significant effort for Lin Ruo to swallow the latter part of his sentence. The reason he explained this so directly was to avoid any misunderstanding wherein Klein might think that he was initially sent by the Goddess to monitor him.

Klein was grateful that neither Captain Dunn nor Leonard were present to witness this revelation; otherwise, it might have shattered their worldviews.

I used my Extraordinary ability of the "Spectator" Pathway to hypnotize him and temporarily make him a devout disciple of the Goddess. He's here to confess.
