Chapter 149 - I Need More Power

Navi was lost in thought, contemplating the weight of their mission and the dangers they had faced. She was grateful to be alive

"I need a vacation after this"

She thought as her eyes landed on the thoughtful face of Axel.

She couldn't shake the feeling that they had only scratched the surface of what was really going on that island.

Azer sat quietly, his eyes closed, as he tried to heal from the injuries he had sustained during their mission. He was grateful for the medical attention he was receiving, but he couldn't help but feel guilty about surviving when Ely hadn't.

The airship continued on its journey, carrying them away from the island and towards their next mission. But for now, the four of them remained lost in their own thoughts and emotions, each grappling with the weight of what they had just experienced.

At that time, Axel took a deep breath and then looked at his nen power and volume. Without too much later, he understood that he have some sort of increase that almost would be enough for him to increase his level.

Sickles, Freedom, Sealed Origin, Apostle, these are his four nen abilities for the time being.

Sickles he uses gives him lethal damage and direct combat power, Freedom is for teleportation and movemental ability, Sealed Origin is passive ability that improves all of his physical and nen capability, Apostle is a defensive ability that can be used for almost any kind of situation.

Axel knew that he did not used Apostle enough against to Stone Creatures or Phymen, the fact is that Void only had one to two week of time to practice and it.

"I need to upgrade it too."

Axel thought.

"I also feel that in no time, I should be increasing my level, not more than one week after that,I will have my chance to create a new ability, the fifth ability."

"This time, I will create a different-type of ability that will still increase my total power be it physical or nen but without I always need to use it."

"Some sort of an infection-type ability that will work on almost everybody but needs numbers to grant me worth nen and physical increase."

Axel is aware of many things that he lacking. These things are important as he noticed that today he survived but what if he did encoutered a creature that even he can not take on or escape or block any attacks.

Best way to stop a creature like this having total power of himself to be increased.

The creatures and nen users are too different from each other, Axel could not imagine to create a nen ability for each type of nen user, there are too many versailles and rules that can be added into the nen abilities that may broke through his counter-abiltiy that he can create.

But if he were to create an ability that again like Sealed Origin increases his total power without a limiter like Sealed Origin.

"I have great ideas but these ideas need to be worked on before they can be used directly without any problem at all."

Axel thought in his mind as his mind worked with great efficiency.
