22) I need a ride.

The phone kept ringing but it was answered with a rough voice coming through it. "Heya, what's going on?"

Steve Hong, the father of Jay hong, who is the friend of Daniel. His dad was the chairman of H company, a company bigger than Charles choi HNH.

But right now, that Chairman was acting friendly towards Ian as he was talking to him while getting into a nice silver expensive looking car.

"Well, I'm gonna need a ride. It's…." Ian told him his location as Steve Hong got surprised

"What are you doing out there boy? I didn't know you were buying houses over there"

"Actually it's complicated, just come get me. I really need my old man to pick me up." With a chuckle, Steve hong singled his driver to start and update the GPS.

"Lucky for you, I live right by. I'll be there"

Ian hunged up as he looked behind to see Minji running towards her dad and embraced him tightly that it seemed like he was losing oxygen.

It didn't take long for Ian to hear sirens in distance as two cars came beside him and stopped. One was a Marcedas while a truck was behind it with Ian seeing Sophia large frame in there.

The car in front rolled down its passenger window as Hong and Ian looked at each other but then smiled which was odd for Kim taking this scene in.

"If it isn't my 'Guardain'" Ian said while getting into the car as he waved Kim goodbye and rolled up the window.

"Hoho~ I'm not that old. So, anything?" Steve hong pryed into his situation as he couldn't help but look at the scene that was in front of them.

A trailer, a military jeep, men unconscious while four people remained. Especially the huge man that stood out, Jincheol park.

He was curious what happened as that person was a person who Sophia admired and spoke highly of.

"Eh, nothing important, like usual, just helped a fellow friend and enemy." Ian told him as Steve hong just clicked his tongue at him. "Brat. These days your elders should be in the know of your business so we can help."

"…So, Charles, he's getting funds that's impossible to make in one year." A serious tone was now used as he stared at Ian as a deal between them was made.

That being, Steve hong the chairman of H company, will fully support Ian and in turn, Ian will help him take down Charles. A common enemy.

"It's not that easy old man, even for me as they cover their tracks really well with the point system. Besides, what good would it do to take him down now?" He picked up a glass bottle of champagne and played with it as he tossed it up and caught it.

"Meaning?"

"Let him enjoy it. Make him feel like we have nothing on"

"We don't" Hong interrupted him as Ian side eyed him and continued to talk "And when he's arrogant about how he can't be taken down whiles he's in the pinnacle of his life and on the drug of success"

Ian then caught the bottle as he suddenly broke it with liquid spilling on the ground mixed with blood and the sound of glass breaking was heard.

"That's when we hit him with the cure. Called evidence."

Steve hong kept calm and looked at Ian as he had a creepy grin along with those eyes he could see from his angle.

"…Heh, what a kid…what a kid." In a low tone, he put on his glasses that was hanging on his shirt, and faced forward. 'I guess Sophia was right, this was a person we wouldn't want as an enemy'

Mia Sun, she was waiting for Ra Suk as he came out of an alley way with groans of pain being faintly heard. "Let's go Mia, sometimes I'm wondering if I should cover your face up with a paper bag"

She chuckled at that as this was his way of calling her cute. Suddenly they were interrupted on their way to fill their belly's up by a stylish expensive car pulling up beside them.

"Mia! Fancy seeing you here." A head popped out of the passenger window as it was a boy with a school uniform, had round glasses as well an unusual pin on his shirt.

(AN: Eugene is stated to be 19, idk if he's a senior or a sophomore, who just turned 19. Either way, I'm gonna make him 18, with his events the same.)

"Eugene! Hey, I didn't realize you came to this part of the city."

"That hurts me Mia, I like all of our community…Sam, it's nice meeting you to, my brother misses you."

Eugene and Mia were no strangers as they attended different but prestigious schools as they would occasionally meet by competing each other due to Mia and Eugene being the number 1 in their school, both middle and high school.

It was also no big secret of him knowing this was the sister of that devil, Ian. Eugene still couldn't forget that day where the Incheon area was in disarray thanks to their strongest person kidnapping her.

He was the first person to find out as he kept an eye on her due to who she was related to.

The secret of Eugene twin brother wasn't a secret to them also because Eugene revealed it intentionally not without gaining something, that being Mia sympathy.

He also knew Sam as he was always with her. Like with his brother, Sam was a personal bodyguard but the difference was that Ian taught him from a young age as this information wasn't easy to get.

He had to exchange some things to get the information from Charles as he gauged Sam, Ra suk, to be level S. But his grade was higher as Sam overpowered his twin.

It was to the point where he laughed and cried. That was also a reminder for him that getting to Mia would be impossible.

He would rather have better luck facing Charles, as to get to Mia, he had to get past Ra Suk, then Yosef, then Cain and then Ian.

Ra Suk was already too much for his brother so what were the chances of those two monsters that were Ian buddies, taking on anyone who came for her?

He didn't want to think about that as the only way to win was to capture her and threatened Ian within an hour.

But so far from the eyes he put on Ian, he hasn't done anything that will get in his way so it was fine to befriend her now and wait for the future as to how to deal with him if they come across.

"…"Ra Suk didn't say anything as he didn't like these type of people. The ones who manipulate and stay behind the blinds of their actions.

"Cold as ever huh?" Eugene chuckled as Ra Suk kept a straight face with Mia coughing, taking the tension away

"Anyways, how'd you find me?"

"Well your in your school uniform and it was easy thanks to Ra Suk pink hair."

Mia chuckled a bit as Sam touched his hair and thought about going to his natural blonde hair. "It's okay to call him bubblegum, I give-"

"Ahhaha, very funny Mia, what do you want Eugene" He covered her mouth as he let out a sarcastic laugh and looked at Eugene who had a sly smile.

"Sam! Be nice, he's a friend."

"Mia-"

"Besides, my brother already knows him. He's smart guy" Mia added as he breathed out rather annolying, taking a look inside the car to see a huge guy with an Afro and his twin brother, he was now more alert.

Sam had to give some credit to Eugene, the people he called his 'Gun' and 'Goo' were strong but being trained by Ian, they're attacks compared to Ian punches, were nothing

But that didn't mean it didn't hurt, he was still human but he could confidently beat them in a fair one v one and also keep them back if they decide to jump him.

Ra Suk knew he was strong compared to the last time he failed to protect Mia but since he hasn't met with any of the monsters Ian told him about, he can't say it he's stronger than them unless he meets one of them.

"It's alright Mia, I have to get back home and work on my homework. Just wanted to know if your gonna transfer to my school, I have the power to recommend you and with your grades, it would be easy to enter."

"Sorry!, Ian already found a school in central Seoul where there's a fashion department. I'm transferring there in a little bit. Since I skipped a grade, they were happy to take me in. Besides, it's already the middle of the school year"

"Yes your right. Well, it looks like was late. They're lucky to have you."

"Thanks, but don't worry, we can hang out. It's only a few minutes away"

He nodded and waved goodbye with Mia doing the same as the window rolled up with him leaving and having his usual cold and calculative look right back on his face.

"Any news."

A student with a dark complexion and an Afro with a huge body for a teenager, shook his head to the sides. "They lost him when he entered a government building. It looks like he was involved with someone."

"….Seeing the video, it looks like he's not on friendly terms with them, in fact, it looks like he broke someone out…."

Eugene held a tablet displaying a video one of his henchmen recorded that he ordered to follow Ian as the video cut out with the last seconds showing a car leaving the opposite direction they were filming from, with multiple bullets flying by. But right at the last second, he heard a scream of someone saying a name. Kim.

Unfortunately they couldn't record or chase after him as it was already dangerous following him to that place.

"Delete it, it has nothing on him. It doesn't even show his face. Even if we recorded him going into a government/military building, it wouldn't do good as they haven't made any statement so my guess is that they wouldn't want this out."

Eugene said as he passed the tablet back to him while tapping his finger on his knee "Ian is just a fighter who's rich, he's not someone the government should keep an eye on."

Looking out the window, he continued to tap his finger "The real questions is, who did he help and how do they stand with the government, so much so that they wouldn't reveal anything….Not even a statement…."

Eugene said out loud as his curiosity was aimed at this. Just who would make the government keep their mouth shut so tightly.
