Chapter 14# Meridith vs Johan

"YO!" he exclaimed, causing fear in some and admiration in others.

"Don't look at me, just do what you wanted," he commanded.

"It's quite hard to ignore you when you are so annoying," Gun Park retorted.

"You meanie!"

Gun Park's eyes twitched again. "Can you just stop bothering us?"

"Hmm, I just want to watch the fight."

"Sure. But just shut up and watch!"

Gun Park looked at Johan and declared, "You are disqualified."

Johan started crying and begging, "You promised!" he screamed.

Gun Park then shifted his gaze to Gojo Satoru and walked off.

Gojo Satoru looked at Johan Seong with pity and decided to teach him.

"Johan Seong."

Johan looked at Gojo Satoru.

"Do you want me to train you?" he asked, smiling.

Johan was shocked, and so were the others.

"Can I become stronger if you teach me?"

"Hmm, indeed. But I just want your full loyalty. Don't worry; I'm not going to take advantage of you in business or your gang. If you agree, you'll have two new friends."

After a few minutes of contemplation, Johan said, "I accept."

Gojo Satoru smiled, thinking, 'New strong allies,' and grabbed Johan by the collar. Daniel Park wanted to say something, but Gojo Satoru dragged Johan to the gym and threw him inside.

"So... Jade, Meridith, we have a new rookie. Train him."

Meridith looked at Johan and said, "Hi, my name is Meridith Aslanov. Quite a hottie, aren't you?" She smiled.

Jade just said, "Hello, my name is Jade Mantis. Let's train."

However, Meridith stopped him and said, "I want to train him!"

Johan was shocked, feeling the strength behind them, and surprised by Meridith's unique appearance in Korea. She was undeniably beautiful, and Jade was quite attractive too.

Meridith lightly kicked Johan's knee and said, "Start and don't look at me, or you'll make me blush," laughing.

Johan got into his stance while Meridith assumed her Muay Thai stance.

'Muay Thai,' thought Johan.

Jade started the fight, shouting, "START!"

Johan attempted to attack, but all he saw was air. Meridith had vanished. He quickly looked behind, only to receive a punch to his face, sending him back by two meters.

Johan was shocked. 'How is she so fast?'

He stood up, wiped his bloody nose, and said, "Again," while she smiled.

In the next instant, Johan attacked, but Meridith dodged and counterattacked. By sheer luck, Johan managed to evade her blows. He widened his eyes, realizing the strength behind her attacks.

'Can I become so strong like her?' he wondered.

Regaining his motivation, he copied her Muay Thai stance and punch, preparing to counterattack with her techniques.

Meridith looked at Johan and said, "You know Muay Thai too?"

She attacked again, but Johan dodged and replicated her previous move, successfully hitting her.

However, the damage inflicted was minimal, just a little blood from her nose.

"I must say, you caught me off guard. I'll give you that."

"You can copy moves like my sensei, don't you? However, it's quite inferior to sensei's copy. I can see that."

Johan was shocked by how fast he was exposed.

"Oh, did I hit the mark?"

"Sensei, you really can see talents!" Meridith exclaimed.

Gojo Satoru just shrugged and smiled.

Meridith looked at Johan and said, "I will get serious now."

And as Meridith attacked again, Johan, this time, couldn't anticipate the moves. He accepted the blows, feeling a kick and a punch. With those two moves, he was knocked out.
