Unstable Gene!

"Hmm... A chance to visit the other Departments, but in the true sense of it all, you are asking for a chance to learn from the other Departments. Right." Commnder Leviathen questioned with a narrowed brow.

"Yes." Einstein nod his head in response.

"Interesting, that is actually a good choice, perhaps even the best choice one could have made. But unfortunately, I will have to reject it." Commander Leviathen said while shaking his head, as he further added.

"But am quite surprised, how could you think of such a great response within such a short period of time."

"Nothing quite extraordinary. Since logically speaking, and not to be proud. But when it comes to wealth, artifacts and so on, I really have it all. Perhaps more than I could have ever needed. So that eliminates a lot of things out of the equation. Leaving me with only one thing to focus on: knowledge. I could see my knowledge is still quite lacking, especially considering what I have heard during the mutant eradicating mission. And the only way I could think of which would assist me in gaining more knowledge is to be able to visit the other Departments." Einstein replied with a light smile.

"Interesting." Commander Dwane muttered in surprise. His eyebrows raised as he gave Einstein a thorough glance.

"Also, I think I should be given a chance to visit the other Departments based on my contributions." Einstein said with a light smile on his face.

"Oh... And why will you say that." Commander Rija questioned with a raised brow.

"According to what I figured out, due to the assassination attempt, the Academy was able to fish out and should have eradicated a spy of the Dark Mutant Academy, one of a very high ranking." Einstein further added with a wide grin on his face.

"Hmm... Indeed, the boy is right. If not for him we wouldn't really have suspected Caramel." Commander Sylvia said with a bright smile on her face.

The commanders suddenly started talking in hushed voices... As they continued discussing for some seconds, perhaps it bordered towards minutes...

Einstein had a light smile on his face, everything was all within his calculation.

'Not only was he the first ranker, he also had a mysterious gene that was more than enough to entice the Dark Lord himself, he was also partly responsible, for fishing out the dark mutant academy's spy. '

All this was more than enough to visit the other Departments...

His thought was suddenly broken, as a loud voice suddenly boomed into his ears.

"Kiddo congrats. We have agreed to your request. But, you will only be able to visit four of the departments for now. And depending on your furture contributions in upcoming missions, we can consider allowing you to visit more departments. How does that sound to you, are you okay with it." Commander Moneca said with a piercing gaze.

Einstein had a stern expression on his face as his voice suddenly tore though the air.

" Yes, am more than okay with it. So when can I visit the other Departments." Einstein questioned with a light smile.

"Starting from tomorrow, you shall be given the clearance to visit four other departments without obstruction from anyone." Commander Sylvia replied, with a mesmerizing smile.

'What an old fox. Sigh... I can't really imagine just how many boys must have been misleaded when she was still in her youthful age.' Einstein shook his head, as a light smile suddenly appeared on his face.

"Thanks, commanders."

"You welcome, until we see again, Einstein." A light smile escaped the lips of Aunt Sylvia as the holographic screen suddenly faded away from reality.

Einstein took in a deep breath, as he immediately walked away from the circlic platform.

"See you later instructor Dennis." His voice tore through the air, as he immediately walked out of the holographic room going straight for his room...

Instructor Dennis had a light smile on his face.

As he shook his head, some words escaping his lips.

"The Dark Lord has got no idea of the terror he has set his eyes on..." A light chuckle escaped his lips, as he slowly also moved out of the holographic room. Rapidly dissappearing into the distance...

Arriving at his dorm, Einstein collapsed on top of his bed. A narrowed brow surfaced upon his face.

*System, something is bothering me quite a lot. *

[And what would that be Host...]

*My gene... * Einstein replied with a cold look on his face.

As he further added.

*What exactly is my gene that could have pushed the Dark Lord to such an extent.*

[The system also wishes to tell the Host. But unfortunately, even the system can't identify your gene. All the system can say is that your gene is very much unstable, always on the verge of collapsing. Therefore it always radiates a kind of aura that is hard to not notice if one has a sufficient level of cultivation.]

*My gene is unstable... *Einstein mused with a raised brow.

This news was like a bomb dropped right against his heart. Especially with the system saying it is always on the verge of collapsing, 'doesn't that mean I could die at any point in time.'

[Host doesn't have to worry about dying. At least not anytime soon. The system is always regulating the host's unstable gene, but the problem lies in the fact that as the host gets stronger. This would become harder and harder to keep under control.]

Einstein exhaled lightly. Calming himself down, he knew getting frustrated wouldn't solve anything. He had to calm down and assess the situation.

*So, system. What you are trying to say is the fact that me getting stronger is the same as a shortcut to Hell. Getting stronger, would result in my death... *

[Unfortunately, Yes.]

Huff...

*Alright, at least now we already know the problem. Now I have two questions for you system.

First being how could the Dark Lord have noticed this unstable fluctuation from wherever he is. And second of all... What's the solution to my unstable gene, I don't believe there isn't a way to stop its' unstability. *

[Hmph... How could whatever Dark Lord he calls himself be worthy or strong enough to identify the genetic fluctuation.]

Einstein raised a brow from the words of the system. As a new understanding now appeared before his eyes.

'He propably had a device that helped with it.'

[Yes, Host thought is just right on point. There's a device that is always tracking the host genetic fluctuation. Though the System, can make the Host genetic fluctuation to be un-trackable.]

*Hmm... Yes, do just that. I wouldn't want to have such a powerhouse on my neck when I haven't even properly began my cultivation journey.* Einstein replied with a calm look on his face.

[Alright... Done.]

*Thanks system. *

[Host is welcome. Just doing my job anyways. As for the host's second question. Indeed there is something that could help with that. In fact I can say with absolute certainty that it's on this planet... Yet not on this planet. I can't really get my hands around it. But as the host gets stronger, I will be able to lock onto the signal.]

*Hmm... So it still rests on me getting stronger. I just hope I don't die before finding this so called life saving artifact. * Einstein replied with a light sigh.

As he collapsed against the bed, his eyes slowly got closed.

As he welcomed the arrival of a new day...
