I woke up to the annoying sound from my alarm clock which I slammed shut, I got up from my bed, went to the bathroom, showered, had a good look at my scars which I got from the several surgeries that I've been through, I came out of the bathroom and got dressed for school, took my bag and phone and headed downstairs to meet my mom in the kitchen and Harry having breakfast.

"Good morning". I greeted as I poured some fruit loops for myself.

"Morning" Harry greeted back with a yawn.

"Morning honey, how was your night?" Mom asked.

"Very fine". I said as I ate my food in a hurry took my drugs and then put the emergency drugs in my bag.

I was headed for the when my mom called me back.

"I'm driving you to school today" Mom said as she got her keys and her jacket.

"Why?" I asked.

"To inform your principal about your current situation". She replied.

"And why is that necessary?" I asked.

"Incase you collapse in school, or something else happens to you he'll have an idea". Mom explained.

"Ooh"

"I'm ready". Harry said as he got his bag and left the house with us.

Mom dropped Harry first, I don't like it when my mom brings me to school, I love using bus or subway (which rarely occurs).

We walked straight up for the principal's office.

"Good morning". My mom greeted the secretary.

"Morning Mrs. Robins and Hazel" She greeted with a warm smile.

"Can we see the principal?" Mom asked.

"Oh yeah, give me a sec" She said as she called the principal and informed him of our presence.

"You can go in". She said when the call was over.

We went into the principal's office and he offered a seat to sit, my mom explained the reason we came to see him and then we left his office, my mom hugged me and left school, then I headed to my locker.

"Hey Hazel". I heard someone call me, I turned and saw my friends.

"Hey girls". I said as I gave them a group hug.

"I thought you weren't gonna come to school today". Gianni said.

"And why is that?" I asked as I got my books from my locker and then shut it.

"Because you fainted". She replied.

Yeah, I fainted in school on Friday in the middle of the hallway, I was rushed to the health bay and then to the hospital where my mom and brother met me.

"And what was your mom doing in school today?" Penelope asked.

"She went to inform the principal about some personal stuff". I said.

"Ooh" They said dragging the 'O'

"Stop it, gush you girls amuse me, I've told you my mom is with Harry Algebra teacher". I assured them.

"Girls look". Julie said pointing to the edge of the hallway where a lot of students were gathering looking and something or someone, I do not know.

"Let's go check out why they are gathering". Julie said as she pulled us to join her.

"Why is everyone here?" I asked a junior girl who was standing beside me.

"Haven't you seen the hot boy outside?" She asked.

"What hot boy?" I asked as I stood on my tippy toes trying to see through the crowd.

"He is a new student in this school". The girl said practically gushing.

"Thanks". I said as I pulled my friends "Let's go"

"We want to see him". They chorused.

"Okay then, I'll head to English class by myself, all alone". I said walking to the class.

As I got there I placed my head on my table to rest, I didn't get enough sleep last night, that didn't last for long because the bell rang and everyone started rushing into the class.

"Morning class" Mr. Amos greeted as he entered into the class.

"Oh God, I can't just have 10 minutes silence and rest to myself". I complained.

It didn't take long that Mr. Amos began teaching when the class door opened and a boy that I haven't seen in this school before came in... I guess he's the new kid.

Hot isn't a word I'll use to describe him, he is more than hot( not exaggerating) now I see why girls were tripping for him. He has a black hair, green eyes, he's handsome and let's not forget his body is well built, I can see it by just looking at him.

"Hey class, this is the new kid". Mr. Amos said.

We all know that dude.

"Can you introduce yourself to the class?" Mr. Amos asked.

"I'm Ashton Reeds". He said with a smile.

"Welcome Ashton". We all chorused as a class.

"Yes Ashton, let's see..." Mr. Amos said as he scanned the class

"... yeah have a seat beside Hazel over there". He said pointing towards me.

Seriously not here, aren't there other empty seats in this class, not that I don't want him to sit next to me, but I actually love the feeling of having no one sitting beside me.

"Hey". I said to him as he sat beside me.

He smiled in reply, and that was the only means of conversion we had in the class.

The bell rang, well Miss Bells didn't come to school today so there was no biology class today and it was double period, I'm so happy I'm gonna spend it in the library reading a book, I'm no nerd but I do love reading.

"Hey Hazel". Julie said as she dropped her books beside me along with my other friends.

"Are you guys not meant to be in class now?" I asked.

"No class for us, Mr. Hart was called to the principal's office". Penelope said.

"I heard the new kid is sitting beside you in your English class". Gianni said.

"Yeah, it's not a big deal, I didn't even want anyone to sit there in the first place". I said.

"You're so lucky, I wish it was me that got to sit with the new guy". Penelope said getting all dreamy.

"Gosh guys are you aware this is the library, I've got to finish this book before this amazing free period is over". I said, that was my nicest way to tell them to shut up.
