The Scotts

Months have passed since Ari opened her eyes to her new world, she finally turned 3 last 23rd of May and she started to be tutored with regards to basic etiquette. Unfortunately for her since she was still a child and also because of their family tradition she can't use internet that much and she doesn't own a phone or any personal gadgets like computer and laptop.

She finally grasped somehow the history of her new family and how rich they truly are. In this new world, the reigning monarchy in her country is much just like the reigning monarchies on earth during the 21st century which is, they are mostly symbolic but still held power. They have prime ministers, parliaments etc. that deals with the state affairs but the King/Queen can still poke their noses here and there with regards to policies like overturn laws if they want to. Their family has a title "Duke" that was given to their ancestors and was passed down from generations to generations that more or less equate them to the royal family as King William II, Albus and Leticia had their own roles in libraries and re-establishing the once conquered Great Kingdom of Ensivelle. Other than the title that their family have, their family also own a multi-billion empire that stretches all over the world.

Ari spent her months familiarizing herself to her new world and new life. She also spent her time with her new family, happy with the love that they showered her and the fact that she finally experienced what it feels like to have a parent and a complete family. As her time passed by in her new world, her brain and mindset felt like being rewired to suit her body's age but somehow still maintain her maturity as she was originally a grown up woman. She spent her time on their library reading books and attending her etiquette lesson.

She started her etiquette lesson 2 months before her 3rd birthday.

A woman in her thirties entered the study room prepared specifically for her which is located on the first floor. She wore a little royal blue hat and she carries herself in a dignified manner. She approached Ari that was sitting on the study table and then gave a curtsy as a greeting.

"Good Morning Lady Evianna" said she, " I am Catherine Barnes, your etiquette teacher" she continued as she curtsied.

Ari stood up and gave her greeting, "Good Mowning Lady Cacherine, I am Evianna Arishtelle Gray. Pleasure to meet you" she greeted back as she gave a little curtsy.

Catherine was shocked on how the girl greeted her back. It was common scene for her when she receive a new student that would be stunned and would not respond if they meet and greet each other for the first time. Ari was one of those special cases.

Catherine gave a warm smile, "That was amazing my lady, please have a sit" she stated as she pointed the chair Ari was sitting a while ago.

Ari sat up again behind her study table and Lady Catherine sat on the vacant chair in front of the table.

"Today, we are just going to discuss introduction to etiquette and basic greetings" Lady Catherine started...

When her birthday came, her parents, relatives and their staff where all shocked with her performance and progress to her study of etiquette. They celebrated her birthday quite simply, just a small party with family and friends. She met her cousin Callum and her Aunt and Uncle which are Callum's parents, Hallie and Edward Gray. Her other aunt and uncle weren't able to come since they live in another country far from the UK called Alionasia.

That was how her months went and now she was still having an etiquette lesson from Lady Catherine. Her relationship with her cousin Callum was also going great, he was 3 years older than her and he was such a sweet older brother to her. Callum was an only child, he wouldn't be if his little sister, Aurora, didn't die from leukemia. Her father and his father were brothers, her father being the oldest and his father being the middle child. The youngest child was their aunt named Amelia who married a man from another country.

She was now composing an email to her cousin with the use of the computer found in their library.

My dear cousin, I just finished my etiquette class and I really can't still believe how scary Lady Catherine is. I tell you, don't be fooled by her warm smile, she turn into a scary monster once the class starts. How are you doing by the way? How was class? What are your lessons about? Have you met some friends? How are Aunt and Uncle?

After she finished typing her massage, she then hit the send button. She then proceeded to the bookshelves to get the "Etiquette 2" book and read it. She had somehow perfected her greetings and introductions so now she was learning about the societal rules or the rules that one must follow when one is attending social occasions. She was still having a bit of difficulty in learning etiquette since this wasn't really a thing on the earth, yes there were etiquette but it wasn't really that strict. What she was learning was akin to the etiquette somewhere in the 18 or early 1900s.

As she was in the middle of her reading, a maid approached her.

"Young Miss, pardon for my intrusion but Sir Arthur have asked for your presence, it seems that there are visitors" she explained

Ari looked at her, "Is that so? Then let me get change" she said as she went back to her room to get changed. There was a stairs inside her study room leading to the second floor of the house so shedidn't worry of being seen by their visitors with her 'home clothes' which is a simple white silk dress. Going by the earth's standard, it wasn't really that bad that you need to change that dress to accept visitors but unfortunately, to her new world's standard, it was deemed inappropriate. She changed her dress into a rose gold empire shaped dress with a satin strap, and bow at the back. She also changed her indoor slippers intro a blush pink doll shoes.

As she descended, she slowly saw their visitors. It looked like a family of 3, there was a man, a woman and a boy waiting for her with her parents. When she reached them she offered her greetings.

"Good Afternoon Mum, Dad" she said as she gave them a small curtsy and pecked them on their cheeks. She looked at their visitors, "Good Morning, sorry for being late. I am Lady Evianna daughter of Arthur, Duke of Cairien. Pleasure to meet you."

The man looked at her father with a smirk, "Wow Art, you have such a brilliant daughter here! How I wish we have one." he insinuated on getting his son and Ari to get married.

"Stop Joe, my daughter is still a child!" her father retorted

The adults chuckled, "Oh dear, where are our manners" the woman said, "Hello Evianna, I am Anna Scott... Hmm, let's see, wife of Joseph Scott, a good for nothing" she introicedherself as she suppressd her laugh

"Anna!" her husband protested

Still giggling, "W--What? Pfft~"

He pouted to his wife and then looked at Ari, "Hi, I'm Joseph Gray, your father's best mate! You can call me dad!"

"Hey!" Arthur called out

"now, now" Evelina said appeasing her husband, looking at her daughter "Come here Ari, let's sit and talk" she said signing with her hand to come beside her.

"Love this is our dearest friends, Anna Scott and Joseph Scott with their son Sean Scott. You don't need to be so formal with them, be at ease." Evelina said and Ari flashed them a warm smile.

"Now son, introduce yourself" Joe prompted

Sean smiled, "Good Afternoon Lady Evianna, My name is Sean Scott. Pleasure to meet you"

Ari smiled back in response.

"Now, why don't you tour Sean on our house while we adults discuss some things, I'll just let a maid call you when it's time for tea" Evelina suggested

Ari was first reluctant to be alone with the boy since she doesn't really want to baby sit but she thought that she haven't really interacted much with a person of her "body age" so she decided to agree since its better to build connections.

"Okay! " she said as she grabbed Sean out of their house.

"Let's go! "
