I don't know if I add stuff like magic etc. Time will tell. In the story may appear creatures from Resident Evil, Killing Floor 2 and Dying Light. I re-wrote the chapters a few times so if there are any mistakes or misunderstandings, I apologize beforehand.

Looking at the mayhem beneath Kakashi couldn't believe his eyes. He quickly turned around and switched on the TV.

On the screen was a man wearing a suit and headphones. He and the cameraman were flying above the city inside the helicopter. The camera suddenly turned to look at the city, the trails of black smoke were coming out from between the buildings. The situation was the same as below Kakashi!s apartment.

Then the reporter went on saying how suddenly and unexpectedly people started going crazy, attacking each other and committing acts of cannibalism.

In the next moment, the door to the rooftop smashed open as several figures dashed at the three people. Having nowhere to run nor hide, the group started retreating towards the edge of the roof. They tried to fend off the attackers but soon they found themselves swarmed and screams of agony and pain could be slightly heard even through the noise of the helicopter.

[Oh my God...] Reporter mumbled but the microphone catch it clearly. His eyes widened as his expression turned pale with fear. [W-Whats that?! Pilot! Pilot! Something is-] At that moment the camera tried to look back but something black hits it, breaking the lenses. Surprisingly, before the perspective changed back to the studio, the microphone picked a sound similar to the noise made by the birds.

The news channel then went on saying that no one under any circumstances, should leave their house or let someone inside. They should lock and barricade their houses, cover their windows and wait for help from the authorities.

Kakashi after seeing and hearing everything couldn't believe what was going on. "It's a Zombie Apocalypse..." His eyes suddenly went from surprised to calm. He wiped his face with his hand.

"Calm down... I can't believe it's happening but I have to calm down." He took a deeper breath and started sorting his thoughts. "Okay, so first thing. This is going on everywhere in the world and for a few hours already. The zombies I saw aren't just your typical Walkers but there are also Infected, judging by the speed and the way they move." He remembered the scene where the group was overrun by the fast zombies.

If there are already two types of Z's, it's not surprising people can't handle them. In this age, almost anyone is familiar with the concept of zombies, either by games or by movies, so it's obvious that's all you need is to go for the head to kill them. But there is a huge difference between the target that is slowly walking towards you and the one who is sprinting at you like a professional runner. Take several of the latter and even police and soldier can find themselves in trouble, let alone the normal civilians.

The second thing that Kakashi was thinking about was rather obvious for everyone familiar with a Zombie situation. Never depend on the government and authorities. These are the first to crumble in most cases.

*Ring! Ring!*

His trail of thoughts was interrupted by his phone. Someone was calling him. He grabbed his phone and answered it.

[Kakashi! Finally! I've been trying to reach you for an hour now!] A Nino's voice came from the other side.

Hearing her voice Kakashi sprung on his feet and started walking towards his room. "Nino! Please, tell me you are fine."

[I-I don't know what is going on! Everyone went crazy! They-]

"Nino! Listen to me! I know it's hard but try to calm down. Focus on my voice, and breathe, okay?"

After a few moments of silence, Nino spoke again, her voice was still shaking.

[I'm sorry... I'm scared, Kakashi... There are a lot of dead people... they are eating each other... It's like from that movies and games you watched!]

*****

Nino slowly peeked outside through the window. She saw people getting attacked and eaten alive just in front of the school gate. She even saw two of her teacher getting their throats ripped off!

[Nino, listen to me carefully. Are you alone or with somebody?] Kakashi's voice brings her back to her senses.

Nino shook her head, a hairpin fell from her pink hair. 'Just focus on his voice... Just focus on him...' She bit her lower lip and looked around the classroom.

"No, I'm with my friend. We are inside our classroom. Everyone else is trying to escape... b-but I heard their... screams..." Right now she felt like she will cry. Is she going to die? She is just a normal teenage girl! Everything that is happening should be just a fantasy! So why, why there is so much death around her?!

She felt someone put her hand on her shoulder. Nino saw her friend looking into her blue eyes with her crimson red. Her friend looked at her with a strong stare and nodded her head reassuringly.

*Beep*

Nino widen her eyes when she heard a notification coming from her phone. Her battery was dying!

"M-My phone is dying! I have 10% left!" She informed Kakashi who was running through some stuff as she could hear it from the other side.

[Okay, you and your friend listen to me.] Nino took the phone from her ear and turn on the speaker. [Don't stay inside that classroom. The doors are probably shit so they wouldn't last long. If I remember correctly, on the right from the door should be stairs. Go to the rooftop and lock the door if you can. Try to be as fast and quiet as possible, got it?]

"Got it." Another scream was heard from the outside. The Zombies caught someone again. "Kakashi, come here, please... I don't want to die..." She said in a quiet voice.

[You won't. Don't even think like that. Just stay on the roof and don't let anyone inside. Absolutely no one. I will be there in a few minutes.]

"Okay. Please, hurry." The phone call then ended. Nino put her phone inside her bag and turned towards her friend. "Let's go, Tomoe. We should do as Kakashi said."

"Okay. Your boyfriend sounds calm despite the situation. He must be pretty cool as you always say." Tomoe teased her friend, trying to relax her a bit and divert her attention away from the chaos around them.

Nino blushed instantly but didn't raise her voice. "Of course he is..." She said quietly but didn't deny nor did she explain that he wasn't her boyfriend...yet.

******

Kakashi was inside his room. He just spoke with Nino and he breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God she's safe..."

He walked toward one of the three armored cabinets standing in the corner of his room. He opened the lock after putting four numbers and swung the cabinet's door open. Inside was tactical gear like bulletproof vests, backpacks, protectors, and tools like a small flashlight or multitools.

Kakashi grabbed a bag from the lower shelf and opened it after tossing it to the ground. He put inside one of the vests and second on himself. His moves were quick and fluid as if he did them many times before.

After putting on a tactical belt, Kakashi moved to the second cabinet. Inside it was some firearms but Kakashi didn't pay attention to some of them, he just grabbed what he needed right now. He took an AK-104 with 5 additional magazines chambering 20 rounds each, and two 9mm handguns with six magazines in total. Taking something similar to a small pipe, Kakashi attached it at the end of the AK's barrel. It was a suppressor.

"It won't work like in the games or movies, but it's still better than nothing," Kakashi said after taking one of the knives from the shelves. It was a KA-BAR.

He put one handgun inside the bag along with three magazines and zipped it shut.

Walking outside his room, his eyes fell on the last cabinet, bigger and sturdier than the previous two. He clicked his tongue regretfully and left the room.

Now inside the living room, Kakashi grabbed the bag with Nino's tracksuit and stuffed the clothes inside his bag. He also grabbed a bottle of water from the kitchen in case of an emergency. They could go some time without food, but not without water.

Kakashi walked toward the exit door. He checked his guns as well as his gear for the last time. He jumped a few times making sure nothing is clanging or making any loud noise. All the stuff he was currently carrying could be heavy for any normal person, but Kakashi was stronger than your average person due to his regular training and past years he spent at work.

Taking the keys to the door and the car, Kakashi grabbed the handle and opened the door. Nino's school is in the city's center. He has to hurry up.
