Chapter one

Door shuts. Luke!.....Emma, screamed. "No, no no this can't happen" Emma took her phone and diled 911. "hello... Emma sobbed, ummm. Someone is seriously injured. There's blood everywhere you need to come quick. Street 48 building 3 floor 7." yeah we are sending paramadics right away". Said the receptionist. Phone hangs. Emma grabbed her hair and sat next to the wall. Her eyes were wide opened, a tear by two, started to fall on her rosy cheeks. Soon the room was filled with the sound of sorrow and pain.

Few minutes later, the sounds of siren from the ambulance filled the room. Kock knock knock. Emma stood up with all of her energy and opened the door. And it didn't take long to make her unconscious. " Can you hear me?. Hello miss can you hear me?" said one of the paramedics.

Emma and Luke were taken to the hospital. Luke was taken to the emergency room. While Emma was unconscious and taken for a checkup.

After the checkup Emma was injected IV." she was just shocked after seeing her friend like that. Has any of their relatives showed up yet?." said the doctor. "No, both of their phones were dead so we couldn't call them yet." replied the nurse. "Also when she wakes up don't let her run." said the doctor.

Back at the emergency room, Lukes condition was getting worse minute by minute. But the sergeons were doing their best to save Luke. Unfortunately his body was not cooperating with them. "his heartbeat.... It's dropping." said the anesthesiologist. for a split second, his heart beat stopped. The sergeon hurried with the defibrillator and gave him a shock.

After the second time his pulses returned back to normal. The surgeons sighed out of relief. They hurried with the surgery and finished it. The emergency lights turned off. They took Luke to ICU in case any thing happens.

The next day. With the rays of light on Emma's face. Her eyes opend. Seeing her self dressed as a patient, she recalled what had happend yesterday. Emma called the nurse and asked her, "where is Luke?, is he alright?. Where is he?." " are you asking about the guy who was addmited with you?." replied the nurse. "Yes, where is he?" said Emma in a hurry.

The nurse explained what heppend, Emma's eyes turned in to tears. She tried to take of the IV but the nurse stopped her. "wait let me bring the doctor, after that you can leave." said the nurse. And left. A few minutes later, the nurse came back with the doctor. " doctor can you....." Emma stopped talking after she saw the doctors face. Her eyes were wide open and was speech less.
