"What did I do wrong?"
Amora constantly asked herself this question after she could no longer watch the man she was now infatuated with. Perhaps she was too forward with her approach, but the inability to use her charms left her more lost than Thor with magic.
If she could somehow meet the man in person, she was sure to capture his heart.
"But now...how do I interact with him? I—"
Before she could wallow in her grief, Amora felt a disturbance in the air. It was faint, but a sorceress of her skill and experience could notice such a change.
Almost immediately, she leaped from her bed and flew toward the source of the disruption. Her attempt to find the disturbance led her outside to her courtyard, where she happened to glance upon an abnormality.
Hundreds...no thousands of thin hair-like streams of clear energy were traveling in unison to a singular point in the air.
Curiosity won over logic, so Amora flew closer to the strange energy to get a better look at it.
As a sorceress, she was taught about many sources of power besides mana, but even with her immense knowledge, she didn't reconize what she was witnessing.
Amora reached towards the energy with her right hand to see if she could interact with it.
It seemed so foreign, and yet somehow, the energy felt like it was connected to her.
"Just what is t–AHHHH!!"
Suddenly, Amora let out an ear-piercing scream as a terrible pain wreaked havoc on her body. It was as if flames were scorching her entire body while her skin was prodded with thousands of needles.
'The energy...it was rejecting me!...'
Within moments, Amora withdrew her hand, and immediately the pain stopped.
Thankfully that's all it took for it to stop; otherwise, she would have most likely passed out. Asgardians were naturally strong and durable, and even that didn't save her from the pain.
"Hah...how interesting." She muttered while taking shallow breaths.
Although vain, Amora possessed a particular trait typically found in people who want to better themself. A thirst for knowledge that was prevalent even when she was just a little girl.
Experiencing the pain from the unknown energy ignited her will to learn more about it, but before she could study it even further, something happened.
*Bzzzt!*
The area the energy was converging on started to tear, ripping apart until there was a hole or, rather, a whirlpool of what was known as spatial energy.
"I-Is that a dimensional rift?!" Amora exclaimed. During her tutelage underneath Karnilla, she learned of such things happening naturally due to an influx of chaotic energy, but those instances were too few and far between.
Other than that, not much is known; even her former teacher's knowledge of it was lacking.
But what she did know is that if she could access it, then she could potentially possess powers even more potent than Odin.
She could become a god!
Her beautiful lips curved into a malicious smile at the thought.
Unfortunately...
*Fwoosh*
The streams of energy and the rift disappeared in a matter of seconds.
"What?! NO!!" Amora's mana surged along with her anger, so much so that she didn't notice the arrival of a particular tricky fellow.
"Oh my, what caused my dear friend to be in such a foul mood?" A familiar suave voice asked.
Amora scowled, "What do you want?... Loki."
The king of Asgard, Odin, was known to have two sons. One was named Thor, the firstborn and heir to the throne. With his trusty hammer Mjolnir, he became one of the mightiest warriors in all ten realms.
He was celebrated and adored as Asgardians practically worshipped strong warriors.
The other son, however, seemed to be the complete opposite.
"Oh, nothing much. I'm just asking for a little bit of help with a certain brother of mine." A black-haired man with a slender build replied as a smirk slowly formed on his handsome face.

*Rumble*
Another disaster...
At least, that's what the populace thought.
A tremor unlike no other shook their quiet city to its very core. They had never experienced such a thing, so they were unfortunately caught off guard as the catastrophe hit their city.
But something...was wrong.
The people started to notice strange things, like particles of light dancing in the air. Even stranger, they saw nothing was being broken or thrown to the ground.
It was as if it was all in their heads.
How could such a thing be possible?
Soon after having these thoughts, the tremor disappeared without a trace, and everything returned to normal.
Were they all hallucinating once again?

:Main Universe:
Powerful.
That's what Emil believed himself to be after he was hit with a surge of qi from his donations. It felt like a fire had been lit from the pits of his soul, elevating him to a new level.
The feeling was almost euphoric, making him feel like he was a kid who had just discovered sugar.
Emil clenched his fist, 'I sort of feel guilty having that person banned...sort of.'
In an instant, he went from level 1 to level 11, and this is what his stats looked like:
★★★★★
Name: Emil C. Valentine
Level: 11(789/50,000)
Class: Celestial Streamer
Strength: 54
Vitality: 41
Agility: 38
Intelligence: 36
Spirit(Qi): 127
Skills: Unnamed Fist (level 1) - Gather qi to your fist to invoke a devastating attack.
★★★★★
All of his stats practically doubled, but his Spirit (Qi), on the other hand, was on a different level. He was so much more intuned to his qi and qi around him.
It felt so much faster and easier to control.
However, there was one thing that didn't change.
Emil frowned, "You know, I sort of wish the change helped me lose weight." He glanced at his body, and it was still the same blob he saw in the mirror just this morning.
"Nope," Mona replied, emphasizing the p, "But at least it will be easier. Maybe you can lift that glorified sword now."
"Ahh...wait! The new quest, I want to take a look at that." He said, pulling up the menu.

"Oh...hold on, what is this?" Underneath the main quest, there was an optional quest, aka a side quest. Emil was no stranger to these types of quests, but generally, these tend to be useless, and he typically ignores them.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and usually, that would be fine, but it was what was heard afterward that changed the entire situation.
"Inspection!" A familiar voice shouted.
"Oh..."
