“Loss”

An hour passed by, as the ringing of a small bell was heard. The trio sat up in their beds, Reece yawning loudly, rubbing her eyes, though Morell and Aku were just fine. The door opened, followed by Kafka entering, as she was the one ringing the bell.

"It is time for supper, dears! Please follow me to the dining room, there's plenty to eat!"

Kafka smiled, taking a few steps back, as the three made their way out of bed, following her. Kafka led them all downstairs to the dining room, as a long table was placed in the center of the room, consisting of a large spread of food, though it was a fair amount for the three.

"I hope you all enjoy your meals!"

Kafka gave them a small wave, grabbing an already made plate off the table as she walked off into a seperate hallway. Morell and Reece both sat down, putting the variety of food onto their plates, though Aku, still suspicious of this all, began following Kafka.

"I'm gonna go.. find a washroom, I'll be back."

Morell nodded, though Reece ignored him, focused on eating her food, as Aku walked off into the hall, being sure to be quiet so Kafka couldn't hear him approaching.

When the hall came to a turn, Aku peaked past the wall, watching as Kafka was standing in front of a door, cautiously looking around as she unlocked it, a sublte green light coming from it as she quickly walked in, shutting the door behind her.

Aku slowly approached, placing his ear to the door, listening into whatever was going on in there. He could only hear quiet mutters, as he slowly reached down to his sword, unsheathing it, then using the blade to pick the lock.

After a few seconds, a click was heard, as he opened the door, only to see Kafka standing on the other side, staring at him with a blank expression, her eyes empty, it was trily frieghtening, as Aku quickly stepped back.

"You aren't supposed to be here, sir."

She approached Aku slowly, Aku backing away in response, as he peaked over her shoulder, his eyes widening to the sight. In the room sat a man bandaged from head to toe, many tubes stuck in him, pumping a green energy into him. Kafka took notice of him sighting it, letting out a sigh as she lifted the side of her dress, taking out a pistol holstered to her thigh.

"It's a shame it had to end this way.."

She pointed the pistol to Aku's head, firing the shot, as Aku quickly blocked the shot with his sword, atumvling back. Before Aku could recover, he was quickly met with a punch to the stomach, sending him back, as it was followed why a kick to the face.

Kafka, began twirling around, gaining insane momentum as she extending her leg, expecting to finish this with a kick, though Aku managingly blocked with his arm, bracing himself as the kick snapped his foreharm in half. He yelled in pain, dropping his sword, as he took his flute out the holster with his other hand.

He swung the flute to Kafka's chest, causing her to lose balance, stumbling backwards, as Aku quickly placed the flute to his mouth, stepping to the left as he fired a blue beam from the flute, directed towards Kafka.

Kafka reflected the beam using her watch, as it was redirected to Aku, shooting a hole through his shoulder. Kafka stood back up, raising her leg high in the air, as a blade came out the heel of her shoe. She sent her leg down upon Aku, as he placed his flute in his mouth, blocking the blade with his hand as it stabbed through.

Aku's breathing became heavy from the multiple inflicted wounds, as he spat the flute out from his mouth, quickly blowing a tune into it as his sword flew up, through Kafka's abdomen and back into the flute. Kafka winced in pain, as Aku kicked her off, catching the flute to deliver a combo of swings to her head.

Kafka took the first dew blows, before beginning to block the hits with ease, as she then grabbed his wrist, only resulting in Aku playing another tune, this time forming a sonic boom that launched Kafka farther into the hall.

Kafka stuck the landing, running at Aku with high speeds as Aku began playing a much longer tune. Kafka shot at the flute, knocking it out of Aku's hand before he could finish, as she raised one leg, delivering a straight kick to his stomach, as her foot was stabbed right through, Aku coughing blood as he held onto her ankle.

He yelled out, pulling her foot out gruesomely, before regaining his flute, placing it to hee chest, as he played the last note.

A disatrous blast of water shot out, filling the hall as a strong ocean wave flowed throughout it, launching Kafka back into the wall as the water was crushing her. Kafka yelled in discomfort, daggers coming out from the bottom of her shoes, as she used them to stay standing as she slowly took steps forth.

A smile grew on her face as she made each step through the water, this smile becoming a laugh.

"It's over, child! You'll bleed out regardless, you're finished!"

She walked rifht up to him, Aku staring in shock, as she swung her hand to his chest, digging her fingers in, as she lifted Aku up, then breaking his back over her knee.

Aku couldn't even yell anymore, his body practically folded, the wayer stopping as Kafka stared at at him, breathinf heavily. She stretched, many cracks heard through her body, as she walked back into the room.

"You'll be the perfect energy source.."

Kafka giggled, stabbing many tubes and wires into Aku, a gruosome image left, as the blue energy within him was sucked out, blood spilling from all his inflicted wounds, as he was merely hanging there in the center of the room. The bandaged man, seated in the back slowly looked up, his exposed heart cidibly beating faster through the bandages.

"Oh, Dear Master! I believe you shall finally be cured of your disabilities today..! It took many years, but today we shall finally embrace.."

Kafka walked to the man happily, kneeling down on her knees in front of him, as she caressed his face carefully, then resting her head upon his lap.

Reece and Morell, still sat in the dining room had finished their meals, staring at eachother, and then to their sureoundings, as something delt off to them

"Hey, hasn't Aku been gone for a while now..? You fon't think he got lost, do ya..?"

Reece looked over to the hall Aku had gone to, poking at the last bite of her food with a fork, Morell looking to the hall afterwards, as she stood up.

"That could be likely.. I'll go find him, you wait here."

Reece nodded, flinging the last bite of food into the air as it landed into her mouth. Morell walked to the hall, walking through as she looked around constantly.

"Aku, where are you..?"

She spoke a bit louder then she usually would, staring at all the old portraits upon the walls, as she was stopped by the sound of a cough. Looking to her right as she faced a door.

"Aku, are you alright..?"

She slowly approached the door, gently turning the nob as he opened it, first sighting Kafka on the floor, rested upon the bandaged man's lap, confused from the sight as she took steps forth.

Kafka had not realized Morell's enterance, as Morell looked around at the strange room, the pipes and machines, and the tubes stuck in the man, as she followed where the tubes lead, finding herself looking up to the grusome surprise.

She stared at Aku's remains in disbelief, her body trembling as her mouth slightly opened. She made small sounds of quivering in her breathing, as Kafka slowly turned her head back towards her.

Morell's head slowly lowered, her eyes meeting Kafka's, as Morell's expression turned from fearful, to a blank frown, her right hand twitching as her breathing slowed.

"What have you done..?"

The bandages man is not hot…
