*ERIC'S POV*

After that crazy encounter with one crazy Little Miss Cupid,I walked away,nursing my neck that was still hurting from the suffocating hug she had given me.

I take out my phone from my back pocket and dial Nick,my best buddy.

"Hello man!"I say once he answers the phone. "I'm gonna need a favour. Meet me at my place in fifteen."

I hang up the phone,take a taxi and ask to be taken home.

After paying the taxi guy,I walk over to my house,open the door and let myself in.

I head straight to the refrigerator and get myself a bag of ice to nurse my still hurting neck.

A few minutes later,I hear a knock on my door.

It was Nick.

"What's up man?"he asks as he walks in.

"You will not believe what just happened to me today,"I begin. "I was minding my business,walking down the street like the liner I am when I got shot by an arrow by a 'Little Miss Cupid'!"

"Wait a minute,"he says with a laugh."You got what!"

"Shot by an arrow! But not like an actual arrow. The plastic kind that people use on stupid days like this one!"I explain."Now I owe her a date and a box of chocolates."

He bursts in laughter and says,"How did it lead to that!"

"She forced me! If I didn't agree to take her out on a date,she would choke the life out of me!"

"Is that why you're nursing your neck? Jesus Eric! I even thought you got into a bar fight or something! I would have never thought that it was a girl!"he says and bursts out in a second round of laughter.

"Oh shut up!"I cut him off. "Now,will you help me?!"

"Yeah man,"he answers. "What do you need?"

""Well,for one, I'll need to borrow your car. Just for the night,"I say.

"Yeah sure,"he says as he throws me the car keys.

"Thanks man! Second,I'm gonna need something decent to wear. I don't think she will approve my look of ripped jeans,tight t-shirt,leather jacket and boots!"

"I'll get you one of my suits. Colour preference?"

"Black,please!"

"Okay. Anything else?"

"Umm,where do you recommend I buy a box of chocolates?"

"Bro! That too! Shouldn't dinner be enough?! Do you have to get her the chocolates?!"

"Yes! She made all these demand and I have to fulfil them!"

"Okay. I'll get you the chocolates when I bring the suit. I'm gonna need my car keys back."

I throw the car keys back to him.

"I'll be back in ten,"he says and leaves the house.

*MOMENTS LATER*

"I think you're ready,"Nick says,wiping off some invisible dust from off my coat.

"I look stupid,"I say,still staring at the man in the mirror.

"Yeah you do,"he says with a laugh. "You better get going or your psycho girlfriend will kill you for real!"

"She is not my girlfriend!"I say,snatching the box of chocolates from his hand and making my way to the door.

"I'm gonna stay here till you come back,"he says as he locks the door.

I walk over to the car,get in and drive off to the address sent to me by Little Miss Cupid.
