Rushing inside, he was greeted by familiar voices.

"Hmph, that dumb tiger spirit thought I was still at the Foundation Building stage. I tore it apart the moment it came near! This should make a nice meal." Xiong Er, the bear spirit, was dragging a tiger's body, laughing heartily.

"Tch, nothing like fresh meat," Ma Jia, the horse spirit, added, clearly relishing the change from their usual roasted meals.

Xiong Er boasted further, "Master's going to be shocked when he finds out we've all advanced to the Nascent Soul stage!"

Li Taixing couldn't help but smile as he stepped inside, his presence quickly noticed by the pets.

"Master! You're back!" Xiong Er was the first to notice, bounding forward excitedly. The others soon followed, their eyes gleaming with joy at his return.

Their progress was impressive. They had gone from the Foundation Building stage to the Nascent Soul stage in just a few short weeks. The pride on their faces was evident.

"Master, welcome back!" they all cheered.

"Are you all alright? I saw signs of fighting outside," Li Taixing asked, though relief was already settling in his chest.

Xiong Er chuckled. "It was just a tiger spirit, Master. It tried to claim the cave, but I took care of it."

"Good job," Li Taixing replied, relieved that it wasn't anything more serious. "As long as no one strong enough to challenge you comes by, I guess you're all safe."

The pets nodded confidently. "No one below Nascent Soul level can mess with us, Master!"

But when Li Taixing took a closer look at the inside of the cave, his mood soured. The once pristine environment was now a wreck. The furnishings and carefully arranged setup he had left behind were destroyed.

"It seems you all have a talent for wrecking houses," Li Taixing muttered darkly, his voice filled with foreboding.

The pets exchanged nervous glances, knowing they had gone too far. All eyes turned to Xiong Er and Ma Jia, the usual troublemakers.

"Hehe, Master… I just got a little bored," Xiong Er stammered, scratching the back of his head.

"Yeah, Master, we didn't mean to…" Ma Jia mumbled apologetically.

"Save it," Li Taixing interrupted. "You've all reached the Nascent Soul stage, right?"

"Yes, Master!" they chorused.

Li Taixing waved his hand, summoning the storage rings he had given them. As he inspected them, he noticed that the inner pills from the fierce beasts had been devoured. After some thought, he retrieved a batch of Nascent Soul-level inner pills from his own collection and returned the rings to the pets.

The pets were curious but didn't question it. When they opened their rings and saw the massive pile of Nascent Soul-level inner pills, their jaws dropped.

"Master! Did you wipe out an entire beast race?" Xiong Er exclaimed in disbelief.

"How did you even collect so many?" Ma Jia added, equally stunned.

Li Taixing simply shrugged. "Don't overthink it. Just eat what I give you. Got it?"

The pets nodded obediently, still in awe.

Satisfied, Li Taixing continued, "Alright, I'll be putting you all back into the pet space for now. I'll call you when I need you."

"Yes, Master!" they replied in unison, eager to follow his command.

As he stored them back into the pet space, a familiar notification rang in his head.
