Chapter 1: before the beginning

It was a warm, sunny day in the city, and I was on my way home from work.

As I boarded the bus, I noticed a young woman rummaging through her bag, looking a bit flustered. When our eyes met, I smiled and offered to pay her fare. Little did I know that this simple act of kindness would lead to a conversation that would change my life forever.

So, as we sat there chatting, I found myself becoming more and more interested in this young woman. Her stories were engaging and her laugh was infectious. I felt myself relaxing and opening up to her in a way that I hadn't with anyone in a long time. Something about her was different, and I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

So, as the bus rumbled along, I noticed that the young woman's eyes lit up when she talked about her job. She was passionate about what she did, and it was clear that she loved her work. As she told me about her day, I found myself hanging on her every word, fascinated by her stories.

And then, just as they were about to part ways, I asked for the young woman's phone number. She hesitated for a moment, but then she smiled and gave it to me and told me to save it with Anne. And with that, she said goodbye and got off the bus at Gonin Gora.

I lived with my parents and younger brother in a cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. We were a middle class family and we all enjoyed spending time together. My parents were not supportive of my interests in sport cause in the city I lived in sports was generally not a point of interest to anyone and they were little or no opportunity for one to become a pro sports man. My parents wanted me to be a Lawyer.

Days later I was at home thinking about Anne and our conversation, suddenly my phone rang and it was Anne, I picked up the phone a little nervous and said "Hello"

A similar voice says "hello Samuel? It's Anne"

"Hi Anne it's so great to hear from you, how're you?

She replies "I'm doing well and yourself?

Me and Anne talk for a long time, catching up and getting to know each other even better. We talked about our l lives, our families, our interests, and everything in between.

We both feel like we've known each other for much longer than we actually have. As the conversation winds down, I found myself not wanting to hang up. I said, "Anne, it's been so great talking to you. Can we do this again sometime?" Anne replies, "I'd love that.
