Intro

"How could you do this to me?"

I was devastated.

He cheated. Was I not good enough for him? Did he have to break my heart?

"Babe, it's not what it looked like. Please let me explain.", he desperately tried to make the situation better. But it was not working.

"Not what it looked like!", I exclaimed, "I heard everything you told her. I thought you loved me but apparently I'm to ugly and fat to love. Right?"

He visibly paled because he knows he has been caught. He told her.

"You lied! Everything was a lie! The promises. The wishes! They were all lies! All you spewed were lies!"

"I —"

He was lost for words. He knew they were all true. He never loved me. He never cared. He lied. He ruined me. His words shattered my heart into a million tiny pieces.

I vow to never ever love again.

Love ruins people and I don't want to be ruined again

"Never again", repeated itself in my mind over and over.
