'Sunflower' played loud in my ears. Music was my cure. Ever since that day two years ago a lot has happened.

I changed schools. The heartbreak was too intense for me that my guardian decided I needed a fresh start. I went to New Brook High to complete my sophomore year then returned for junior year. Though I hate to be back, my friends were over the moon.

"APRIILL!", I heard one of my best friends, May, screaming. She was running through the school hall like her hair was on fire. As soon as she reached me, I was enveloped into the tightest hug known to man kind. I mean I know she missed me but that doesn't mean she can cut off my circulation.

"Can't breathe", I was able to utter barely breathing. She quickly let released me and air returned to my lungs. Colour started to return to my face.

"OMG! April, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to accidentally kill you", she said while trying but failing to hold in her laughter.

When she finally stopped laughing, she looked at me and said, "I really really missed you April. Nothing's ever been the same since you left."

"Well, I'm back now. Want to bombard me on all I've missed?"

I changed subject before she started crying. I hate it when people cry. It makes me queasy and sad.

We were talking when I heard, "April!", someone shouted. I looked towards the voice to see Juliana, Julian's younger sister, waving her hand like crazy. You would not believe who was beside her.

" You have got to be kidding me", were the words I uttered after laying my eyes on him

Julian Snow, the devils incarnate beside his lovely sister and my second bff, Juliana or Julia as I call her. Though the break up was two years ago, it still hurt. And it hurt really bad.

I was no sooner embraced in another tight hug.

"I missed you so so much", Julia uttered with a breaking voice. Was she crying?

My suspicion was confirmed when I felt hot tears on my shoulder.

"Group hug", shouted May. She then joined in on the hug forcefully might I add. I felt so awkward being the center of attention. One thing about me is I hate attention.

"Guys, I think you're making her uncomfortable", a deep masculine voice said.

"Screw you Asher."

"Dude chill, we haven't seen her for two years."

Asher was a great friend and also my older brother. Asher didn't switch schools although he did beat up Julian badly. I hadn't seen him for two years. He was my rock and solitude. He was older than me with one year and few months. He was a senior.

Julian and Asher were best friends for basically their entire life. Asher was skeptical when Julian and I started dating but he didn't care as long as I was happy.

Speaking of Julian, he is just watching the whole ordeal with a secret smile dancing on his face.

"Well you're acting like you haven't seen her for fifteen years"

SMACK! The sound resounded through out the hall but Asher didn't even flinch.

"Ouch", Asher stated while trying to hide his grin

"Babe stop messing with us." Only then did Asher stop his shenanigans. Asher and May have been together for four fucking years. He adored her and could even kill for her. That was how much he loved and cared for her.

"Yo Asher, party tonight?, a random guy whose name I cannot remember shouted.

"Na. My sis just came back. No time", Asher replied.

"Ash, I think I'm gonna head to class", Julian finally spoke

His voice had changed deeply and it gave my body shivers.

He may have broken my heart but I still love him.

" Yeh, I'll catch you later", my brother replied.

They never stopped becoming friends. Not like that bothered me anyway. Their friendship was to be adored and envied.

The girls and I stayed there chatting till the bell rung then went our separate ways.
