Lifting of the Veil (BL)

When he woke up, he didn't know who he was, where he was, or even which year it was. All he knew was that he was somewhat impaired... There was just sand and he couldn't even see a few meters ahead. There were other survivors, and he even found a friend. Was this the apocalypse? And why is his clingy friend getting clingier as time goes by? Both MC and ML straight, mutual bending, shou perspective / dual perspective of MC and ML, they will probably be a reversible couple.., love interest falls in love first, there are explicit scenes planned. Have fun ^^ WARNING: LOTS OF SWEARING, BLOODY, GORE Cover is of "Global university entrance exam" (highly recommended), if I`m not allowed to use this please inform me! MC and ML should generally look like the two on the cover.

19. Did I?

"No, no, wait." Sean stopped him. "I usually go upstairs to the roof while smoking, though there is a lot of sand, I like it there..."

"Mhmm...weird...."

"Tell that Hunter." Sean grimaced but still reminded him.

"That you like sandy cigarettes?" Jack asked blankly. Sean felt as if he would die of anger the longer he talked. But he had a trump card. "I heard them talking!" He couldn't be mysterious with this person.

"Whom?"

"Hunter and Lilly, yesterday! I know his secret."

"So what?" Jack continued on his way, not the least bit interested. Sean hurried after him and blurted out "He is a murderer!!"

"Who?" Jack asked casually.

Sean was taking deep breaths trying to hold himself back from punching something. "Hunter!!!"

"So?" Jack didn't even blink.

"What...what do you mean? He is a mass murderer, the University Butcher, he was all over the news!!!!"

"I don't watch the news, no electricity here." Jack finally reached the door of the Latrine.

That didn't even make sense!!!!!. Sean wanted to follow in confusion, but Jack abruptly turned around.

"Wanna compare who the bigger one has?"

Sean hesitated then, understood and stopped "No...no" he was too bewildered to say more and stared at the closed door.

But worse, when he finally returned from his stupor and wanted to go back he was met with Hunter's smiling eyes. 'He heard!'

He looked down at Sean and asked "What do you think a mass murderer would do if he heard you talking about him ?"

Sean hadn't seen him yesterday because of the sand, but he heard how Hunter vomited after talking to himself. He thought that Lilly had false informations. How could such a wimp be a murderer? So naturally he hadn't had scruple, being all mysterious about this to Hunter's little friend.

But now seeing his unfeeling eyes he believed it, what was he doing here provoking the sleeping lion? Why not be happy with his own problems?

He had had his own fair share of conflicts through his life but he had never had been stared at like looking down on garbage, on an object.

He gulped "Murder... that.... that...." he licked his dry lips and looked away, "that person?"

Hunter nodded slowly while looking at his feet with his arms crossed. As if digesting that answer.

Then his eyes sharply met Seans, the unfeeling look replaced suddenly with one full of hatred. "How should I know? I'm didn't kill anyone..." He whispered in Seans ear "Did I?"

"No, no, no, you didn't haha" Seans back was soaked.

Hunter hummed and looked at the door, Jack should be out soon.

His face returned to tranquility "Get the facts straight next time." Sean felt too threatened to stay here any longer so he ran away after nodding hard.

Hunter had felt a cold chill when he woke up and looked for Jack, Lilly said he had been just there, and now he was on his way to the toilet in the cellar, so Hunter followed. As he heard what Sean said he felt his surroundings spinning- he was about to come forward and kill Sean when he he heard Jacks answers. He was baffled but then he had to put his hands before his mouth to avoid laughing out loud. How can there be such an infuriating prick? Such a wonderful person was given him together with the worst news he had ever received. He didn't question if he deserved this friendship. Rather, it felt as if it was god's reward for doing nothing wrong in his whole life. Yes he knew he murdered so many people, he felt the tremor, even just thinking about that. But he didn't do it as far he remembered. He didn't know his own circumstances, so he thought of giving Jack, along with himself a chance. It didn't matter if he would go to hell for downplaying the whole ordeal.

What Jack said and did just now, wholy unconsciously helped him more than his year long therapy, some advice or a hug ever could.

'I want a hug nevertheless.'
