Lifting of the Veil (BL)

When he woke up, he didn't know who he was, where he was, or even which year it was. All he knew was that he was somewhat impaired... There was just sand and he couldn't even see a few meters ahead. There were other survivors, and he even found a friend. Was this the apocalypse? And why is his clingy friend getting clingier as time goes by? Both MC and ML straight, mutual bending, shou perspective / dual perspective of MC and ML, they will probably be a reversible couple.., love interest falls in love first, there are explicit scenes planned. Have fun ^^ WARNING: LOTS OF SWEARING, BLOODY, GORE Cover is of "Global university entrance exam" (highly recommended), if I`m not allowed to use this please inform me! MC and ML should generally look like the two on the cover.

16. Recognizing Hunter

Note: Hearing ""You're somebody else" Flora Cash

The more Jack saw of Hunter's chin and jaw, in combination with his amorous closed eyes, the more stunned he became. He chuckled "You were right, a big beauty." Hunter opened his eyes and his eyes were scorching for a second.

Then he grinned "Told you so." He stood up and wiped his face with the towel. "I'll talk to Lilly, then get you for checking your head." Jack looked at him in question but let it be.

Hunter went outside to the living room, where he saw Nick "Where is Lilly's room?" Nick nodded "Oh! Nice face man! First door on the right side." He nodded and knocked on the told door.

"Hunter?" She opened the door and when she saw him, the smile on her face froze. She looked terrified at him for a moment before walking backwards, she stumbled on the floor and crawled backwards to get as far away from him as possible.

"Lilly? Why.." Hunter stepped in the room but it agitated her just more and her eyes became even more terrified.

"Fuck...." He sighed. "I don't know why you are reacting like that? I'm not like my mother, I won't do something to you...if you recognize me from the internet then...."

"What...what year is your last again?" she quivered

"2024" He answered.

"Okay...okay..." Lily tried to calm herself. She stood up trembling and tried not to look at his face. She checked if Momo was still asleep in his little tent on the floor. After making sure he hadn't woken up, she walked to Hunter, still not looking at his eyes and standing unnaturally far away. "Let's not talk here."

"Okay..." Hunter looked at her blankly, in the past he was disgusted with people being scared of him, but now he didn't want to have anything to do with his past- he hoped Lilly wouldn't recognize him, and he choose to go to her room because he feared a reaction from her in front of the others if he stalled it. But he never anticipated a reaction this big. It didn't seem very justified to be honest.

She led the way out of the apartment up to the fourth floor, where the rooftop was.

He naturally hadn't been there before, the more they got up, the more the floor tilted, but it seemed stable. Lilly walked through a metal door and they were now outside on the rooftop. They couldn't see more than one meter here, it was less than on the ground floor. Lilly turned to him, they were standing with their backs leaning on the wall next to the door.

"As you already know, I volunteered at the hospital. There was a senior nurse, and I had a good relationship with her. She showed me the files of actual and previous patients every now and then, on one side so that I could learn from them, but mostly it was for passing time on night shifts. There had been a file of a really beautiful boy, his face was unforgettable. He had been admitted to the hospital because of a car crash where he broke his leg...This picture was from you. " She paused. "There had been a murder case..." Hunter sighed and thought she would talk about his parents.

"It was 2026..." she continued. Hunter felt dizzy for a moment.

"There was a rampage on an aristocratic University for the rich kids. Some students shut themself in a classroom with weapons and took students and teachers hostage. Nobody new what was going on for twenty four hours..."

Hunter looked at her incredulously. "You mean to say I went amok in a university?"

"Not exactly...'' She took a deep breath. "Only one hostage survived as they stormed the building. He wasn't responsive to anything. It was supposed he was a victim. But... the investigation revealed something else. He really wasn't part of the students who took the hostages, but... it was him who killed them, them and the other 35 students and 3 teacher and the 4 hostage-taker." Lilly broke into tears, not because she was involved in the case or lost someone back then, but because she felt hurt breaking the news to someone who couldn't even remember.
