Chapter 13 : Need to report this case

Adeline warned him beforehand. Yes, she herself was not ready to see this sight, but there's no choice left for her.

The person, who is Mael, the boyfriend of the victim who died in this day, was chewing into something.

Jean don't know what to call this situation...

What does she mean by saying, don't be shocked after you see this?

What does it really mean?

If this person in front of them is not cannibal, then who is he? And what is he doing? And who did he killed this time?

Who's flesh it was on the ground, splatter around?

There were many questions in his mind but the answer were nowhere to be seen.

As they keep growing close to Mael, they keep themselves alert all the time.

" Mael, get up...you are caught red handed ", Adeline said in strict tone.

She distracted him from his main task, Mael was eating without any disturbance and he was calm but now that he heard a voice of someone, his head turned backside.

Not his full body but just his head moved backwards. This scared the shit out of him.

This scene alone is not enough to scared the shit out of him, but act Mael was committing.

There's a full human female in front of him and he was jait chewing and eating it as if it's his meal or snack for the day.

" Adeline! After seeing this, can you still say that he is not cannibal and not eating the human? How can there be such a monstrous human in this planet? Ite disgusting...".

Jean was disturbed and disgusted at the same time and he don't know what to do with this guy.

" Stay alert...".

She only told him to be alert as this man can be much more dangerous than how he was looking at the moment.

Blood all over this face, flesh crumbles around his mouth. His fangs coming out from his mouth and stained with lot of blood and flesh on top. His eyes...it turned muddy, no pupil...just the muddy colour, as if he was a real monster.

" Mael, can you see who I am? Can you speak? ", Adeline want to confirm something as he was looking clueless but thirsty as hell.

Mael left the half eaten body on the ground and get up, his bike cracks about four five times and then started growing close to them.

" Hungry....I am hungry. I wanna eat...I wanna eat you both ", Mael keep mumbling and then that scary smile form on his face.

He was not looking human. Even Jean, who was not afraid of anything, started feeling cold and Shriver down his spines.

Mael started to approach them slowly but then his pace became fast and he almost jump on adeline.

Fortunately, Adeline was sharp and quick minded, she ignored the attack and nearly saved her life.

Mael get up from the ground and once again tried to attacked them with the intention of sucking their blood and eating their flesh.

What to do with him?

" Adeline, is he even human? How come has no much energy ", Jean finally come to realised that this person is not human but nearly a monster.

" Smack him hard on the head with that wooden stick of yours. Hurry up ", Adeline instructed him.

He node to her and did what she said. He smacked him hard on the skul.

But despite his smacked, Mael still get up.

Seeing that it's little hard to get hold of him, she smack her foot on his head with all the energy she had in her body.

Fortunately, he fainted this time and fall on the ground.

" Let's tie him first. Other things can be done later on ".

Jean and Adeline tied him on the chair. Only after seeing that he was tied safely, did she took a long sighed and a breath of relief.

" We are late ", She was feeling low as her eyes followed the disturbing sight.

She thought she was ahead of time and this time would be able to save this person. Unfortunately, she came late. Another death happen...

" How did you get to know that he eats human flesh? ", Jean asked.

" It's not what you are thinking. He is not cannibal. But a person who has lost the power of thinking and seeing. We are talking about that drug before coming here, remember? It's because of that drug that he is behaving this way. He can't control his mind...".

Jean was little astonished but believe what Adeline was saying.

" What should we do with me now? We have caught him already, what's the next plan? ".

" We have to report this to the original organisation. We can't handle him, nor we can let him go free. He is a dangerous person, can harm others ", Said Adeline.

" What have you think then? report him? ", Jean is still not sure as to what they should do next.

" As I said before, we have to report this case to the secret organization. If he he to hurt anyone physically, that person will turn into undead and it's a serious case ".

As Adeline keep talking, Jean's mind started turning fizzy.

" Wait...wait! what do you mean? undead? the injury made by this guy can turn other into zombies? are you out of your mind? ", This is something he can't believe.

Adeline ignored his words and keep looking around.

As she was looking around, she started hearing another cracking noise. But it disappeared soon. She thought she heard something but the everything went silent.

And she thought everything was just her illusion.

" You won't believe me right now. But you will believe me...soon. At first, even I thought it's impossible and made fun of it. But let me tell you...I have lost my parents, I don't know when but I don't have them with me anymore. Not in the state they used to be ".

Till now, she keep praying that whatever she is thinking and whatever Emelie said was just a lie and there was no truth in it.

But after seeing this guy in this state....she js fully convinced that they are no more.
