"The Horizon of Destination"
My sleeping mind is waking slow,
To where horizons start to grow,
Through life's desires, glimpses see,
And questions rise, persistently.
Trembling steps, unsure, they move,
A walk uncertain, sight to prove,
Dim visions meet a light anew,
To see the sky, with purpose true.
A longing strong, to touch, to feel,
Dedication's path, to kneel,
If love you share, in slightest way,
Give trust, your hand, I'll climb and stay.
Dream clouds drifting, now they bind,
To grandeur found within the mind,
Desire's wind, at rest, it speaks,
In solitude, love's silence seeks.
Eyes once lost on far-flung line,
Now find your chest, a space divine,
Where I can lie, my heart at ease,
To cry, to laugh, beneath the trees.
The heart, the world, it once embraced,
Now centers you, a perfect place,
It feels enough, with you in sight,
My world complete, my guiding light.
No more tales of dreams that fade,
Nor journeys dull, in twilight shade,
Let steps be bold, on paths to you,
No distance far, no stone undue.
Before the mind deems road too tough,
Tell heart to beat, enough's enough,
Through life, in love, I'll sing and pray,
Dear deity, my night, my day.
To you, my deity, I vow,
With love and trust, forever now.
