Awakening

The girl from the tree froze everything in her path, her intended target was all but a statue in front of her. Some of the extras were frozen too, while a few managed to get out of the way.

She was about to walk away, when Laser boy's eyes started glowing red. She ducked just in time as a lasers started burning up everything in laser boy's line of sight.

The ice around him started cracking, and he broke free, still sporting his straight face.

"Such meager attacks add no damage to my exterior. Although they do cause a worrying drop in temperature, they still have no_

*Crash!*

Before he could finish, the strange girl smashed a fist of ice on his face.

Stumbling back a bit, he spat and refocused on the new enemy.

He rushed forward with inhuman speed, but she was ready for him. She erected a large wall of ice right before he smashed into it.

Now that the two big-bads were fighting, Hiro took this as his chance to escape with Logan. Like Hiro, Logan used Ginro as a meat shield, and was just pulling himself out of some of the ice that had got him.

Hiro was about to reach out to Logan when something horrible happened. Two golden arrow heads suddenly burst out of Logan's throat before Hiro could say anything.

He rushed and grabbed Logan before he could hit the ground.

"Logan!!", he screamed.

Hiro watched, as Logan was struggling to breathe, and kept spitting out blood. All of a sudden, memories of himself holding a girl with a slit throat in the same position, started playing in his head.

Everything went red.

He didn't notice when the white haired girl started using flames, or when Logan's body started to vanish, indicating everything was just a simulation. He didn't even notice when Celeste aimed another arrow at his head.

Everything suddenly started to slow down, and he now noticed everything and everybody. Celeste that shot the arrow, White-girl that froze him in place, and laser-boy that brought Celeste to them.

He was furious.

Celeste shot the arrow, aiming for his head. Without even looking up, he simply just dodged them like they were nothing.

She stretched her wings, like she was about to fly away, but Hiro quickly grabbed her neck before she could do anything.

'How! he was way over there!' she panicked.

He squeezed her throat and hurled her towards Laser-boy, who just sidestepped her.

Hiro charged at him, with a heavy intent to kill. Sensing this, he instinctively punched Hiro, but Hiro simply dodged and punched his pancreas.

Snow white saw this as an opportunity to take care of both of them at once.

Before she could blink, Hiro was behind her. He struck her kidney, then her lower back, the center of her back, then finally her neck.

She went groggy for a second, before before releasing intense flames around herself.

Everything was on fire, the trees, the ground, even the ice started melting. Walking out of the flames was something out of horror movies. Snow white watched as Hiro walked out, his face burned and disfigured, Blood all over his face, his muscles and bones on display.

'No way!' she thought

The wounds, immediately started to heal. The burnt muscle and flesh fusing back together. Seconds after, he looked like his insides weren't just on display.

He had closed the distance halfway, before Laser-boy tackled him to the floor. He held Laser-boy's head, Planted his feet on his abdomen, and threw him away with the same momentum.

He focused his attention back to the still horrified Loli, but was cut off by an arrow he dodged just by a hairsbreadth.

He rushed Celeste, with a motion that she just couldn't track. In a panic, she formed a sword in her right hand.

Hiro grabbed her neck... again, and stabbed the center of her chest with his hand. She started lighting up, and it was not long before she disappeared.

Laser-boy regained his composure, and snow white refocused herself. It was only them three, and two of whom had a common target.

Without hesitation, Hiro dashed for the most troublesome of the two. laser boy met him halfway, ready to deliver a deathly blow.

Hiro sidestepped his punch, and give him a solid one of his own to laser boy's chin, looking to knock him out. He delivered another jab to his chin again with his other hand, just to be sure.

Laser boy staggered.

Seeing as he was close to his goal, Hiro was about to finish it with a round house kick to his jaw, but was cut off by a wall of ice.

Laser boy quickly hopped to the side of snow white "We have to work together to win this. We can't let someone who got into this school by recommendation beat us!" she said. Laser boy turned to her, straight faced as ever and said "I don't care about the means by which he attained an admission, I see a powerful opponent in front of me, and I want to crush him" a slight smirk formed on his face, perhaps one of the very few emotions he can show.

"It doesn't matter, as long as we get rid of him!" she replied.

"I'll take him head on, when you see an opening, freeze him. If he ignores me and goes after you, burn him with a tunnel of flames"

Snow white nodded in agreement.

The other students watching from outside were amazed by what one person could do against those two. 'That fighting style, I've seen it somewhere' the lecturer thought.

Hiro dashed for laser boy again, not letting up. The latter met him halfway, but his guard was up. Hiro tried striking him. But he was just too strong.

Hiro was about to land a clean hit, when he was cut off by a sharp wall of ice.

Laser boy crashed through the wall and landed a pinch to Hiro's jaw. Hiro back kicked the upper jaw of Lazer boy, which was slightly open, taking off his head.

Laser boy turned into light and disappeared.

Only Hiro and snow white were left
