CHAPTER 13: ASKING ON A DATE

A shook on my shoulder that woke me after our intense workout but I felt tired actually. I wanted to sleep more beside her. As I stared at her begging me to go. My heart was touched I know I understand her side.

For so many years, she did not do relationship and focus on her single life with her son. Moreover, I, just crashing in her house all of the sudden what would her son think of her then of me. I respect her son too.

I respect her culture I know it is different from I used to be. Because living in this liberated country and her origin is quite different. She may have a son before marriage it does not mean she was that easy.

I still do not know about her life so I totally respect her. I took all my clothes and put it on myself as she watched me.

I finished in a minute as I looked at her. She did not say a word. I walked closer to her as I cupped her face.

"I will see you soon." I said as I saw her nodding then she follows me behind as I walked downstairs.

I stopped in the front door before I send myself out. I turned around to see her face. She was confused why I stop as her eyes wonder.

I smiled at her nicely as I say, "I will be back tomorrow night to visit you. Let's have dinner."

"W-what? No, this is just one time thing." She wrinkled her forehead for what she thinks misheard. "I mean, you cannot be serious. Are you asking me on a date?" she innocently asked.

"Yes" I answered immediately

"I-I do not know boss but I will think it over this is all sudden to me." She bit her lips.

I saw her eyes were confusing for all the things we had done. I just hugged her for a second then kissed her again before going out or before she could say other words to me.

I did not look back to see more of her reaction. However, I already know what I would be… shocking face, I am sure of that.

I keep on smiling as I drove back to my place thinking about her then I snapped myself.

'What have I done to myself?' I shook my head. 'Geesh, that woman did something on me.'

I should take a shower to relax and stop thinking about her. I have to do something before this crazy mind does another unusual me.

It took me minutes after I took my shower, cooked my own dinner alone in my house. I would rather not call another woman just to fill me tonight Erine was already enough.

I turned on my tv to watch current events. In my mind still thinking about what she said to me before I went off.

After that day, I did not bother Erine. When she said that she would think about it. I wanted to text her the next day but I control myself.

Maybe both of us needed some space for a while and think it over. I know it is, it has been a while since I have dated. Asking again for a date since my life became a mess.

Tonight, it is Friday once again; she will be reporting in. As usual I was standing by the window waiting for her arrival.

It never took me too long to watch as her car came in to the parking lot. She was always wearing black. Well, they all are. They do have uniform during weekdays. But when it comes on the weekends. They can wear anything as long as it is black with their nameplate attach on their clothes. So that some customers will know they were working in the club.

I plan to walk out from the office to pretend I am roaming around my club. Yet, my main purpose is to see her even by far just a glimpse will do.

I do not usually do roaming that is David's job but I only watching above but now is exemption. I wanted to see her up close without noticing. Acting as if nothing happens to us. I know we were both new with this kind of thing because I do not date or hooking up with my employees that is my rule. In other words, I broke it when Erine came.

I even went to the employees' locker room during weekends just to put something for her. Of course, I will go there no one's around. I am not stupid to show what I was doing in there. I still have self-esteem for Erine. I do not want her to feel burden with the treatment of other employees.

Greg follows me behind. A little far away not too obvious if I am out from my office. I looked around there were many partygoers already enjoying the night.

I saw her in a distance she was serving customers with their orders, foods from the kitchen. She was smiling. I think she enjoys her job in the club. I did not aware I even smiling too just watching her from a far.

"Boss, you are smiling." I heard David saying with a tease as we both was looking at Erine.

"What? Did I? Nah, you are just imagining too much. Get your ass out of here and roam around for the customers' safety." I said as I denied the fact that he caught me by surprise.

I know I am smiling and those feelings I could not deny I am fond of her.

If only she will work for me every day that would not make my day duller.

Nevertheless, I can still convince her one day that she will work for me 8 to five weekdays. For now, maybe I will just make some efforts to keep Erine love and enjoy in my club then the rest will see what would be the outcome.
