Beginning Of Cultivation

I began too search for the inn that the receptionist told me about, I was relieved that this worlds language was the same as my previous life so things would be a lot easier to do.

I went down a few blocks and made a few turns too find the inn, it took me a while but I eventually found it.

On the top of the front door the place said "Twilight Inn" so I walked in and headed towards the receptionist.

I then asked "could you please show me a room where I could stay for a week or two?"

She smiled and said "That will be 9 silver coins please."

My heart jumped a little when she said that because I didn't have no money.

Because I was just standing there she gave me a weird look and said "Do you perhaps have no money?"

I disdainfully nodded without saying a word at her.

But then I remembered the medal all hunters had and pulled it out and showed it to her hoping that this thing would save me in this situation.

The receptionist looked at it and said "ah you should have showed me this before, all hunters in this city doesn't have to pay to stay at inns because they all help this city so this is the least we could do for them."

I let out a big sigh and said "great so then could you take me to a room?"

She nodded and said "follow me"

I did as she told and followed her up some stairs and there were doors leading down a long hallway.

She finally stopped at 1 door and said "This is where you will be staying at for however long you want.

Then she walked of and went back behind her desk waiting for more customers.

I opened the door and the room looked fairly simple.

There was a fairly big wooden bed in 1 corner of the room, a desk right besides it and chair. There was a bathroom that had a toilet and sink inside and a shower.

After I stopped looking around I noticed that it was starting to get dark outside and the moon was coming up.

I went in the middle of the room and said in a cross-legged position and thought of the "Arcane Moon Energy Technique" and read what was inside my head.

It said "The way to cultivate this art is to use arcane energy that is already inside your body and start pulling all the moon energy that is around you and in the sky, gather all the energy in the middle of your stomach and slowly you will start to form a core."

After I read that I started to do what it said.

I closed my eyes and brung out the little Arcane energy I had and used it as a reel to start pulling moon energy into my body.

It was difficult and I started to sweat but I got the hang of it after a little while.

As soon as I got a steady pacing flow I started to get all my energy back and I was relaxed while at it too.

I felt that a tiny little outer shell of a core started to form and that I slowly started to get stronger.

*8 Hours Later*

When I heard those sounds I felt that a lot of barriers in myself had been broken or more specifically 5 of them had been broken, the same number of time those explosions in my body happen.

I got up and I smelt a distasteful smell in the air and my body felt icky but I felt stronger and it seemed that my eyesight and senses had gotten more sensitive too.

I looked at my body and I had a icky gooey slime black substance all over me and it reeked.

It seemed that all the impurities in my body was washed out after all of that.

I went into the shower inside the bathroom and washed my self off with soap.

After that I noticed my body had gotten tougher and more refined than before.

I dried myself of with a towel and washed my clothes in the sink with soap also.

I put back on the clothes and stepped out of the bathroom.

Since I have now started cultivating I could send my senses inside of my body to look at what cultivation stage I was at. So I closed my eyes and sent my senses inside and looked at my core.

I was at the 5th layer of "Energy Gathering Realm" I was surprised of how effective this cultivation technique was that I jumped 5 layers in one go.

Now I was expecting more of myself in the future and wondered what I would be like.

Would I be strong enough to destroy destroy Multiverses, universes and rule over galaxy's if I wanted too? I thought to myself.

But those are thought for way in the future and all I have to do now is keep getting stronger.

After reminiscing about the future I looked outside and noticed that the sun was up.

I huffed in disappointment and wished I had a cultivation technique to practice during the day too.

I hoped that this necklace would provide me with one very soon because I am wasting precious cultivation time right now.

I decided that I wanted to go out and test this new found strength of mine while also completing the mission I got from the Guild Hall.

Just as I was about to leave I heard a noise.

*Rumble*

It was my stomach and I was hungry so I was going to eat before I left out to go test my strength.

I walked out of my room while putting on back my cloak and headed down stairs and see if I could get any food.

Now that I remembered I saw a food shop while looking for this inn so instead I will leave this inn for a while to go eat.

I did as I thought and walked out and headed towards the food shop I saw. Once I did I went inside and saw bustling of people eating and enjoying food.

Some were in armor with a weapon and some looked like regular citizens.

I walked up to the front to order some food and pulled out my medal hoping it would work here too.

Just as I hoped it did.

The chef smiled while rubbing his forehead to get rid of sweat. He then asked "What would you like to eat sir?" Since I was new around here I said "Give me the best most delicious thing you have here."

The chef nodded and went to the back to cook. 3 Minutes later he came back with what seemed like meat and vegetables on a stick with a total of 4 sticks piping hot.

He handed them to me and said "Enjoy!" and he went back to cooking. I walked of with my food to sit down and enjoy my food.

Just as the chef said it was delicious, I enjoyed every last bite and threw my trash in a garbage.

I walked out of the shop and out the city to head to the forest.

As I did I was looking around the city to familiarize myself with the place. Eventually I reached the city gates and walked out and headed towards the forest.

After 10 Minutes of walking I finally reached the outer edge of the forest and said "Time to start hunting" and a sadistic smiled appeared on my face.
