Wednesday - Emptiness

COMEDY

"Hello everyone, this is V."

V waved his hand while smiling.

"Today is a Q&A session, I will answer some questions that might have piqued your curiosity."

V stared at some empty chairs in front of him carefully.

"Alright, you in the first row on the far right, what would you like to ask?"

V put on a serious expression, as if he was listening to someone asking.

"My name is a bit complicated, actually. It's Verthisathurgiesh Shamash, yes, that's my name. Next."

V looked at the next empty chair.

"Why do I like playing games?"

V drummed his fingers on his chin while looking up, trying to find an answer to that question.

"At that time, I was taking a nap, but suddenly I woke up because of a noisy sound. When I looked outside, there were two young men playing something on their phones, I approached them and found out they were playing a game. At first, I thought maybe these people haven't learned their manners yet, don't appreciate the place they are in and won't they end up here anyway? However, after a while of observing them, I became interested. After that, I decided to scare them, and they ran off in a hurry. I went back and still thought about the game I saw, I decided to buy a phone and play that game. That's how I initially started liking playing games until now. Sometimes, with just a moment's glance, it can poison the heart and mind."

V continued, looking at each empty chair until the last one.

"Thank you, everyone, for enthusiastically asking me questions. Now I understand why people enjoy competing for empty seats, because they can do whatever they want without anyone questioning or opposing them."

At the end of the sentence, V seemed to contemplate again.

"Empty chairs, is their mind also empty, for contesting something that's empty. Then filling emptiness with emptiness again, wouldn't it still remain empty, so easily filled again with emptiness?"
