Into The Valera Realm

I was quietly drinking wine and enjoying a relaxing Sunday evening. Soft music was playing and the atmosphere felt amazing. I hummed to the song then my assistant decided to burst inside of the throne room without knocking.

"Lady Seraphim! We have finally found a new Realm for us to slay and conquer also add to our collection." My assistant said excitedly.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you of your living rights. Have you no courtesy of knocking before bursting in my domain as if we were getting attacked?" I grumbled the wiped my face with my handkerchief, setting my wine glass down.

"Uhm because you care about me and I think you're a very good Ruler and the strongest Overlord to date?" My assistant smiled nervously at me.

I sighed and rolled my eyes then crossed one leg over the other. "What is it you have to show me about this...Realm?"

"It's called the Valera Realm. It's full of powerful beings and powerful enough to add to your army! I believe this would be a good chance to outshine that other bothersome brother of yours. He believes you've gotten soft after you've stopped conquering Realms." My assistant said and looked at her papers. "Even Stella thinks you've fallen off and she's not even an Overlord, but people classify her as one."

I crossed my arms and rose an eyebrow. "Give me a break. All we do is go into the Realm, kill a few billion people, enslave the Realm, end their civilization and move on. There's nothing exciting about it anymore. And don't get me started on Stella, Miss I disappeared for 11 years because I lost my country. Arcania wasn't even that good of a country."

"Valera is the one chance you have to prove them wrong. Valera is by far the strongest Realm from the research we have. Plus one of the recon members said the women there are absolutely banging. The fuck does that mean?" My assistant asked.

"It means the women there are hot as shit. Good looking and besides even if that were true, we'd kill them anyway. If I agree to conquer this Realm, I'm doing something different." I said then stood up. "My love life has been boring. These men aren't cutting it anymore. Their sperm isn't strong enough to impregnate me and they've all proven to be dry as hell. I need a change, maybe a harem of women will do."

"Women? But two women logically can't make a child..and a harem? The fuck you gonna do with a harem? You barely paid attention to your first few husbands and even killed you recent one because and I quote 'His sex game in bed is pathetic' end quote." My assistant said.

"Because it was. I am an Overlord for crying out loud. I've heard humans treated their Goddesses better in bed. Felola done went thirty rounds with her stupid human and my nonhuman husband couldn't even do that." I sighed then stretched. "At least with women, I can use my toys."

"So how are you going to conquer this Realm?" My assistant asked.

"With perversion." I smiled.

"Excuse me?" She asked.

"Yes, but don't be mistaken. I'll still show them the power of an Overlord by enslaving and other shit, but I do want to try something different. I won't create a harem of too many women, three to six will do. I will choose carefully on who I lust over." I said then walked away from the throne. "Keep my seat warm for me, I'll be a while."

"You're not taking your army with you?" My assistant asked.

"Not for this one." I said then walked off to get ready for my conquest.

I walked out of the throne room and walked to my bedroom. Once I entered my room, I walked to my closet and opened it then looked at my armor. I smiled and my eyes shined. I grabbed my armor and went to take a hot and steamy bath.

After making the bath water, I got in and relaxed for a bit. I closed my eyes and began to get in deep thought until someone tried to contact me. I sighed and opened a small holographic interface. I looked at the interface then noticed it was my brother calling.

"The hell do you want Sephiran?" I asked and closed my eyes.

"Bubble bath? Really?" Sephiran asked.

"Can't a woman take some time to herself to take a bath and not a shower? What do you want?" I asked.

"Well I'm calling to see how the conquest is going and clearly you've been on no conquests. Your numbers are dropping. You've fallen off." Sephiran said.

"Not true in the slightest. I still have people from other Realms loyal to me. If anything, I'm living comfortably...but I am planning to conquer Valera and make it mine." I responded.

"Valera. Ironically that's the same Realm I am planning on conquering." Sephiran said.

I opened my eyes and sighed then stood up and my holographic interface followed me. "Listen I'm not competing with you anymore. This cycle is pretty boring, but if you want to conquer Valera then go ahead. I'll find a new Realm."

"What? You're just giving up like that?" He asked.

I began to get dressed. "Yep."

He frowned at me then smirked. "You really have fallen off. You used to be one of the most feared women across the multiverse."

"I'm still feared!" I blushed and fixed my hair. "Just not...across the entire multiverse after I stopped conquering. But now I'm back in the groove!"

"Mhm. I'll tell you what. The Valera Realm is vast so you have 500 days to conquer the Realm. If you don't conquer it within those 500 days, I'll be there and I'll conquer it myself. If you do manage it, I'll get off your back." Sephiran said.

"Fine, I'll take your stupid deal. Just leave me be while I get ready." I rolled my eyes.

"Clock's ticking." Sephiran said then I closed the interface.

I finished getting ready and walked out of my bathroom. I grabbed my sword from against the wall and made my way to my altar.

I entered the altar and walked to the transportation platform. "Just take me to Valera, I'm ready to conquer."

"As you wish, Lady Seraphim." One of the guards said then activated the transportation platform.

The platform shined then transported me to the Realm of Valera. A portal opened in the sky then blasted me to the ground. I screamed then crashed onto the ground.

I groaned and slowly sat up. "What the fuck..."

I stood up and looked around. I was in Valera and in a forest. I took a walk around to try to find a path leading out of the forest. Everything seemed calm and beautiful in this forest.

"Only 500 days to conquer Valera. I would most definitely need more time to conquer the way I wish to conquer this Realm. Stupid brother, thinking I'm gonna just come here to slay. Mmm...whatever. I'll just show him that I'm still feared across the multiverse. Even Stella would understand I'm still feared across the different universes." I said to myself. "Rachel-"

I looked around and noticed my assistant wasn't beside me.

"Right, I told her I would come here alone. It feels strange not having my assistant next to me at all times." I said to myself and kept walking around.

I heard a squeak and stopped walking. I looked around then heard someone whimpering from a ways away. I followed the sounds back and noticed a woman with feline qualities stuck in your average every day trap.

"Ah...could you help me down..?" The woman blushed and looked at me.

I blinked at her then scratched the back of my head. I snapped my fingers and a black razor wind cut the ropes. "People still fall for traps like these?"

The woman grunted as she hit the ground. She groaned lightly and held her head. She slowly stood up and looked at me. "Thank you for saving me. I really appreciate it."

I looked at the woman and studied her appearance. She had long silver hair, with snow leopard ears and tail. Her spots were light blue instead of black so she might have been a different breed of leopards. She wore a long white dress with a black cape and wore a satchel around her waist. She had on black snow boots and gray stockings.

"The noise came from this trap here! It might be one of those pesky feline hybrids always coming here stealing fruit!" A hunter said.

I looked in the direction of the voices and noticed a group of hunters walking in our direction. They stopped once they noticed me.

"Hold on! It's that Overlord! One of the Crimson Siblings! She's got a high bounty and we could use that bounty to upgrade our traps. And her...the legendary blue spotted leopard hybrid. Oh yeah today is our lucky day." A hunter said.

The feline hybrid hid behind me and seemed afraid. "I don't have a weapon on me and I kinda...broke my bow when they chased me the first time."

I sighed and unsheathed my sword then stepped forward. "Mortals, you are in the presence of an Overlord. If you feel suicidal then step forward.."

"Ha! You think we are afraid of a washed up Overlord? We can take you down easily!" One of the hunters said then unsheathed her blade then dashed forward.

I effortlessly blocked her attack then slashed at her, severing her head off her body.

"Emily!" One of her friends yelled. He looked at me with rage then yelled and ran to me.

I looked at the man then my eyes shined. He slashed at me and I parried his attack then gripped his neck and dug my nails into his neck. I began to squeeze his neck and dug my nails deeper into his neck. I rose him off the ground and smirked.

The man choked and gripped my wrist. He began to lose blood and oxygen quickly.

"Foolish, pitiful mortals. You believe I'm washed up...? I'll show you washed up." I said then tossed him into the air then slashed at him, cutting him in half.

The feline looked more afraid of me more than she was of the hunters. The other hunters made a quick run for their lives, but I teleported in front of them then began to strike them down one by one, killing them with zero remorse or second thoughts. I panted softly and looked at the feline with blood on my face.

I stood up straight and pointed at her. "See what I did because of you?! I wasn't even thinking about killing anyone! Plus I just took a fucking bath not too long ago! This Overlord shit is really annoying.."

"W-What?" She looked at me confused.

"Shut the fuck up! Just lead me out of this bullshit forest already!" I demanded.

"O-Okay!" She said as turned around her tail swayed.

I began to follow her out of the forest as she knew where to go. The start of my personal conquest was already failing as I killed ten people and I've only been here for ten minutes. If I continued like this, I would never complete my goal.
