KNOWING THE TRUTH

“My father?” Roshan looked at Heath as the boy in white paced around the laboratory, holding the bloodied scalpel in his hand.

“Your father was a killer.” Heath’s voice rang out. His eyes held no emotion as he spoke.

“I know.” Roshan replied back to him. His teeth was clenched as he struggled to keep his focus on Siena and calculate how much time she had left.

Roshan’s father being a killer wasn’t new to his son.

He was a war veteran, he would gotten rid of the head on the neck of the enemies and Roshan as his son had grown to accept it.

“...”

Heath was silent before he let out a low chuckle. The sound of the scalpel hitting the ground echoed in the laboratory.

“So you know he killed my parents?” Heath’s eyes grew cold, and for the first time, Roshan was sure he saw a strange emotion on Heath’s face before it quickly switched back to normal.
