chapter-4 Little present

Lily throw the whole bouquet of flowers in a trashcan in the corner of the corridor and went to classroom.

She keep thinking about the events that happened in a day. Strange dream, roses and principal warning. She dismissed the thought of her mother knowing about this incident and prayed god do not let that happen.

She reached the classroom and sat on her place. Beside her Ana asked "is something happened..?"

"Nothing, just call from my mother. She couldn't be able to pick me up after school" lily replied with a small smile on her lips assuring there is no need to worry. She wanted to tell her, about the flowers but did not like to bother her with the things like this, after all her only friend in school.

Ana also knew that something was off, her mother never came to pick her up but did not ask her further.

After school ended, lily said good bye to Ana. "can i drop you at home?" Ana asked, worried that she has to walk all the way to home.

"No, but thank you ana" as she replied and turned away to walk on her way to home.

Lily working as a part timer at coffee shop which was two streets away from her school. She needs work to save the money for her further studies. So, she started taking small part time jobs and working her ass off to save for the expenses. She changed into coffee shop uniform from to school uniform, As she busy with taking customers order she saw someone from the corner of her eyes waving their hands to her.

She turned her head and see her two childhood friends kate and mia. She saw both of them and she told them to wait, as her work is going to finish. After her work done at coffee shop she met her both friends and went to the near restaurant where it sells best food at cheapest prices.

Three of them took a table at the corner of the room and placed an order of pizza, fries and some coke. "How was the school..?" kate asked as she putting some fries in her mouth.

" Everything is new normal" lily replied while taking two bites of pizza as she hadn't any meal from morning.

" Any hot , handsome guy in class?" mia asked curiously. She heard that all richest people children in the town study there.

" why, you want me to set you one?" lily joked with her friend.

Just three of them smiling and busy talking about their school days, how they spent together, lily felt little sad how much she missed her old school and friends. Suddenly someone came to their table gave a package and went away.

They looked at each other's faces, and opened the package. There is a hand written note on that. Mia took that note and read " Hello my little lilly, how was the roses...? Did you like it?" as soon as she heard her name, shocked and wondered who might be...?
