"You know if I were you mom. I would have killed father already." I said to my mother sternly as I go to the living room, the smell of alcohol danced in the air.
I handed my fat slob of a father the liquor that he desires so much to guzzle. A cattle in human form is what he is.
Our house grew silent since the monster is now slumbering on the couch as I hear the television noises continue playing.
"What do you mean Alex?" My mother asked me terrified of what I had said before about killing my father.
"Look at you. Is this really the life you dreamt of? Is this the life you wanted to have?" I asked her pointing to her attire.
She looked at her bruises, messy hair, dirty clothes and bandages, I see the regret in her eyes. The regret of staying in this toxic relationship.
"Well, it's up to you, mother. Either you get the courage to escape and do what you want in life or stay with this fat slob that is my father to continue abusing you. You're choice." I turn away from her as I returned to my room.
As usual. I open the classroom door and I see a bunch of losers who can't stand up for themselves getting beaten up by these pigs who only have their background going for them. I just sigh and sit down in my chair. Not batting an eye on someone.
"Was your high school also like that? I guess we really are the same." Lisa exclaimed excited and surprised.
"Well as I was saying... let me continue my story." I squint at Lisa.
My "friends" are those kids that were born with a silver spoon. Someone that thinks highly of him or herself because if you don't hang out with those people you get bullied and tormented in my school. Either torment or be tormented are the roles you can get.
But when I saw those idols that one person showed me in the bar. That's the moment that I knew. I wanted to famous just like them. I wanted the crowd to love me and be around me. That's what I wanted and that's what I planned to achieve.
So I remained in school. Keeping a low profile but still taking part in hanging out with the rich cool kids while maintaining my persona of being one of them because I knew that being found out would lead to me getting hurt in the end.
Until... the worst happened. The gang asked all of us to hang out in a bar again and asked me to pay for the drinks and such... As you may know, I am extremely broke... so this is a problem that's why I needed to really get money fast.
"ALEX! PLEASE CALL THE POLICE IT'S YOUR FATHER!" I turn around to see my mother who was ruffled and dirty as she is, going outside grabbing my shoulder.
"Who is this?" One of my so-called friends asks everyone.
"Could just be a crazy old hag." One of them laughed at my mother who is clinging onto me asking for help.
"Sorry lady but I don't know who you are? I think you may have gotten the wrong person." I told her blatantly. Her eyes are full of sorrow as she stared into my face.
"YOU OLD HAG! YOU THINK I'M SIGNING THESE DIVORCE PAPERS!" I hear my father screaming and walking in our direction.
My heart goes to my stomach as I was standing in pins of needles. Not because of my father's an outside tantrum and my mother getting potentially killed but of how they will be able to catch me.
I tried to get everyone to the bar quickly. "Uh, guys why don't we go to the bar. So we can finally drink."
"Nah! This is fun to watch." They all took out their smartphones, gathering around a crowd to video my father pulling my mother's hair and beating her. Funny how people tell them that they hate violence but they love to watch and no one bothered even help and stop them.
"Hey! Alex!" I hear my father's voice in the distance screaming my name. I stood there in shock as I try to run.
"ALL YOU TWO KNOW IS RUNNING AWAY DON'T YOU? COME BACK HERE!" He grabbed me in the shoulder. "Aren't you going to at least greet your father you ungrateful bastard." He exclaims.
"Who-who are you, mister... I feel like you got the wrong person..." I say stuttering my words.
"Mister?" He asked me confused. "I'm your father." He said to me as I turn around to see the people whispering.
"The bastard even tried to hide it. They look completely alike. What a loser."
"I can't believe he's actually not rich, what a fucking loser."
"My parents are in Canada my ass. Fucking liar."
That's the day my perfect life crumbled before my eyes. Everyone knew about who I truly was... Just a poor talentless loser that they can look down on. So it began...
After the scene they caused outside I knew I would lose all my social status in the school. I sat down at my house outside as my parents continued their arguing about the divorce...
The next morning, It was absolute hell. I would hear their comments about me.
"Ew, what does it smell like a homeless person here?" They laughed at the sight of me.
"That's what you get when you don't shower every morning." I hear their comments growing harsher and harsher.
My desk was covered in horrible graffiti and carvings of their insults and harassment but one day. I knew I'd be better than all of them. I'd be so high up that those little shits won't be able to look up to me one day.
Every day I get beaten, tied up, humiliated by them. Those words they tell me it echoed to me and still stayed to me until this day. "You'll just be a pathetic loser. You won't reach anything in life." that's what they told me.
But every day I remained to work hard. I studied hard, I never let all this drama shit get the better of me. Just keep looking down on me... and I'll be bigger than all of you.
I started to get a part-time job. I knew I had to train hard in order to become an idol. So I took lessons every day, I got a regular spot on a t.v show faster than anyone could but it's still taking too long. I knew if I was able to get into a famous group like sugar time. I'd be able to get fame and start my own solo show.
So that's what I did. I learned to speak and sing Korean and with a little charming of the producers, I was able to get into where I am now. However, I still aim to get higher and better so once I see those shits again. I want them to feel what I felt like how they humiliated me and made me feel like nothing. I want them to suffer as I did.
"Oh... I'm sorry... that's really horrible what happened to you." Lisa says to me expressing her sympathy.
"Thank you, but I don't need you to feel sorry for me. It's annoying." I say to her.
"So... what happened to your parents?" Lisa asks concerned...
"My father is dead and my mother is in the hospital. I covered her hospital bills but I don't want to speak to her anymore. She was nothing but a coward. Had I told her to stand up to my father she would still remain." I say to Lisa sternly.
"By the way, do you know anyone named Damien?" Lisa asks me.
"Damien... hmm... no. I am not aware of this person. I am actually bad with names but I memorize the names of my top fans so I can sweet talk them but if it's somebody useless and worthless in my conquest for greatness then no I don't bother remembering their name." I reply to her.
"Well, now you know what I've been through. I was a low life back then with nothing but a dream and the world against me. I was born into a terrible family and look at me now. My drive for vengeance is what got me here. The drive for success that one day I'll see those idiots who tormented me washing my car as I ignore them in the street." I sat down close to her, patting her shoulders.
"You know what they say? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger? Let this experience be a learning experience. Life is always not fair and you need to deal with it." I stand up as I grab my things. "Well, I need to go. It was nice talking to you, Lisa." I walk away...
"It was nice talking to you too, Alex." She mumbled under her breath. She had a lot of thinking to do. I hope this little pep talk worked on her.
Although maybe she's right... I should visit.. my mother...
