Emperor Zhang Yongyan(2)
Emperor Zhang Yongyan was looking towards the angel oak tree. 'That monster has finally come to take my daughter' he laughed as remembered the face of the beast that took his wife.
He walked to his chamber and slowly opened the secret door to the underground. This place has an anti-mana that surrounds it. It was designed so that no one can discover the secrets discussed inside.
A man in mid-30's wearing black robe has appeared behind him. He has been stealthily hiding from the shadows protecting the emperor. He knows what happen 2 years ago when the empress died, and he too knew how fearsome that beast was.
"Your highness, I am waiting for your order" he bowed in front of the emperor.
"Meitian must have found out about the black dragon" The emperor looked serious. He drank some tea and sighed. "Xia Wei, look closely towards her whereabouts. She must have gone near to the crescent forest"
Xia Wei listened attentively to the emperor. He too had thought the same thing however the princess has been weak for a couple of years now so he's still not sure of what's going on. He patiently waited for the emperor to dismiss him so he could guard the princess. It's already sundown and they fear that the black mana will appear again.
"I believed she had finally awakened her physical gift" The emperor added.
Xia Wei was shocked he was speechless of what the emperor had said. 'It's impossible! To be able to activate her physical gift she has to do that thing right?' he pondered.
"You're dismissed" The emperor saw his skeptical look on his face so he dismissed him right away. Xia Wei left as he bowed down respectfully to the emperor.
THE PRINCESS' CHAMBER
Meitian wasn't sick anymore. She had been moving a lot in her bed trying to sleep but she can't. She was napping all day so she's widely awake now. She thought of leaving the chamber but her father must have sent guards to watch over her. She used her heightened sense to hear the breath of all the people around her.
Later on, after a whole hour of concentrating, certain heartbeat of a man in a tree was looking closely at her chamber. She smiled as she mocked the guy in a very soft voice "Hello there, sneaky man".
Although she found out the whereabouts of the guy who's guarding at him effectively, she still couldn't move out. Her body couldn't move a muscle because she's playing asleep, but her body has been betraying her and it's only been one hour, she couldn't wait any longer to get up.
Her patience is running out, she couldn't sleep, and most of all her curiosity about the black mana last night has reached its peak.
Last night in the hunting forest, she saw a rat with its mana in it. She was so curious about it so she followed it. It was when she finally realized that she was already outside the border. She noticed an old man waiting for the rat. She was already outside so she just joyfully followed the old man, as she perceived a unique physical gift she could steal.
