Canoe Claire gets poisoned

Niklas sighed as he shook his head, not knowing what to think of him trusting Dunk and Dunk’s character. He headed back to the hotel he checked in at. He arrived in his room and picked up his bag. He checked if there were any of his properties that were lying around in the room, but there were none. He left the room with his backpack and checked out of the hotel for the day. He told the receptionist that he would return to the room tomorrow. So, the receptionist reserved the room for him.

Niklas went to the Pen metro station and got aboard a train that went to Kernel village. On the way home, he deliberated on his conduct before Dunk.

‘I was nervous and anxious, and I didn’t even hide it when I spoke to Dunk.’ Niklas facepalmed in his mind.

‘My anxiety combined with how I displayed my powers gave away that I was a rookie before him. Why couldn’t I think properly back there?’ Niklas pressed on his temples with his fingers. He felt so embarrassed.
