Ch.32 Little Wolf.

(Hope's Pov)

Some things are worst than being in Hell. Well, Hell adjacent, anyway, the worst thing than that is being stuck in Hell with an annoying person, and I am in Ultimate Hell.

I still haven't found any other creature except for Clarke. At this point I would rather let the portal take me anywhere, that is not with him.

He said, "Hey Hope, I am still thinking as to who you like and I think I am getting closer."

I said, "You said that there is a way that we can escape and we have been walking for God knows how long and all we have encountered is just more frequent portals."

He said, "Oh, come on Hope, don't give up well, hope."

I said, "I still don't understand why or what are those portals, that seems to appear out of nowhere."

He said, "Let's think of something else then, what are you going to do once we get out of here?"

I said, "I am not telling you."

He threw his arms around and said "Oh, come on. I thought we could at least talk about that."

I smiled and said, "Why don't you tell me what will you do?"

He smiled and said "It's easy... I will pack my bags and leave for the Bahamas, maybe even settle with someone... I am just done with this crap."

I laughed and said, "So you want a Happy ending?"

He said, "What, I can't have a happy ending?"

I said, "Well, villains like you don't usually get a happy ending."

He said in a low tone "I am not a villain Hope, I am just a kid who is scared of his dad, who will do anything to get away from him."

We then heard some things it made a nice that was similar to the notice that the predator made, and then we saw them, they were some weird creatures who had four eyes, sharp protruding teeth, black ash grey leathery skin and sharp fangs. I used the Invisique spell to make myself invisible.

Clarke asked, "What did you do?"

I said, "I am invisible."

He asked, "What about me?!" they came close to us but they didn't do anything to us, we were safe. They then moved away from us.

He looked at me and I asked "What?"

He smiled and said, "Well, you saved my life, I guess we are partners after all."

I said "I only saved you because you are keeping something from me, I want to know why? Veritas tempus."

He was frustrated and said "Would you stop with the magic already? It's not fair."

I smiled and said "Think before you answer. Is it unfair, or do you deserve it?"

He thought for a second and said "I totally deserve it." He groaned and said "What? Wh- Why-why did I just say that?"

I smiled and said "Because I cast a truth spell. You can only answer me honestly. Now how does that make you feel?"

He reluctantly said, "Like this isn't gonna end well for me."

I then said "This entire time, I have been working on a theory, trying to figure out, why the portal comes. And then I realized, it's always after I do magic. Am I getting warm?"

He grunted and said "Scalding."

I then smiled and said "You know, it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. I thought that I was wrong about me being the only one who could destroy him, but I think my actual mistake was that I, I wasn't a fully activated Tribrid when I dove into that pit.

I have not died, so my vampire side hasn't been activated yet. And what I realised is that malivore doesn't want me here. I am poison to Malivore. Will you finish that sentence for me?"

He grunted and said "He is trying to expel you. To send you back from where you came."

I then stepped up and asked, "And every time he tries?"

He said "I grab hold of you, to get expelled with you. But as much as my father wants you to leave, he wants to keep torturing me here even more."

I then smiled and said, "Then it's official all we have to do is wait."

He asked, "For what?"

A portal opened and I said, "My Uber is here so Imma head out."

He said "You can't leave me here"

I said "Sure I can, you've tried to kill me, I have to get back to my friends and I have to get back to him"

He then grunted and said "I can't lie right? So you know I am telling the truth when

I say that if you help me go back too, you will never see me again. I promise."

I said, "I am sorry Clarke, but you know why I can't take the risk."

He said, "Yeah, If I were you I would do the same."

I said, "Good Luck Clarke, it has been a horrendous time with you."

He said "Screw you Hope."

I was then sucked back out and spat back to earth. I then found my way back home and as I was standing in front of the school I heard "Hope?"

After I don't know how long I was standing in front of him, and sure enough he didn't forget me, I was happy that I was seeing him.

He walked towards me and said, "Am I hallucinating?" he then fell down like a wet mop. I then picked him up and I asked myself "Why do I like him?" I then took him to the bus stop.

We were sitting and I smiled and said, "Seems like you have been drinking."

He gave a goofy smile and said, "I have today was a momentous day, but how are you here, I thought you were inside Mali-Mali-Malivore."

I looked at him and said, "I came back, but today was momentous how?"

He then told her his story about how he was a fallen Angel, how his dad was Lucifer the literal devil, how he is now God and how he helped him become one and I looked at him hoping that this was a joke and said "It looks like you are too drunk."

He then said, "So you don't believe I am a Fa-fa-fallen angel, that my dad is Lucifer who is God now?"

I looked at his face and it was hilarious, I couldn't help myself and said "Nope."

He then looked at me and grunted and then got up and showed me his wings, they were now changed from being red and leathery to an azure blue and he then tried to look at them, it looked like a dog chasing his own tail and he then asked: "Hey did my wings change?"

I looked at him in disbelief and said "Yeah, they did. But how?" He really was an Angel.

He looked confused and said, "Maybe it is because I am thinking of myself as an Arch Angel or I am somehow feeling bad about the things that I did, I don't clearly know, I am new to this Angel business."

I was curious about it and asked "So you really are an Angel. What kind of Angel are you exactly?"

He smiled and said, "I am the Archangel of Love and Mind." I then pointed at his wings and he just shrugged his shoulder and took his wings back in and sat near me and said "Did you know how much I have missed you?"

When I heard that I was happy, I looked at him and asked, "You have?"

He looked at me and said "Yeah, I have! I have been having a crisis because of you. I mean you just tossed yourself in like that. Like I couldn't have killed that mud-robot. It really hurt me that you did that you know."

I sighed and said, "I am sorry but that was the only way I knew how to stop Malivore."

He then came close and asked "Did you know how much you have confused me during this summer? I mean I have been thinking about that note you left me and I am trying to understand as to why did you leave that note, was there any hidden meaning behind it or something?"

He was close to me, my heart started to race, my breath was getting short but then he moved away and I asked "What if there was? What if I left it so that you could remember me?" I know that he is with Josie but I just wanted to know.

He smiled and said, "Litte wolf, I have a big brain that doesn't forget and there is no way in Hell I am forgetting you."

I looked at him and he asked "What have I said something?"

I smiled and said, "No, it's just that my dad used to call me that."

He then looked at me and said "Well, little witch was taken soo... I guess you are stuck with this one. And really I wouldn't have forgotten you. It is literally impossible."

I looked at him and he said "It's because I have..."

We said in unison "A big brain?" we laughed and he said "Exactly!"

I chuckled and looked at him and said "You say that but according to you, you are on Blackout drunk. So you will not remember any of this."

He then blankly stared into the void and then turned towards me and asked "So if I am not going to remember this may I test something?"

I was honestly amused as to how much of an idiot he becomes after he drinks and I said "Go ahead big brain."

He then leaned in and kissed me and couldn't stop him, maybe I didn't want him to, as his lips touched mine, I was lost, I kissed him back and it felt somewhat revealing like something was untwisting in my heart it felt freeing, my heart was pounding like an engine, I couldn't breathe, the world was spinning and it felt wrong yet why was it soo beautiful and then he looked at me and I realised, what it was and he said "Wait you are..." and before he could say anything else I knocked him out.

I then laid him on the bench and left, I couldn't be near him, I can't do that to him and Josie, I must get away from him.

(Next day)

(Lucas's Pov)

I woke up on the Bus bench outside the School, I had no idea as to how I got there. It was the morning I stretched and went inside and I found Josie she was in the hall, most of the students were back from holiday, she was worried, she ran up to me and was furious she asked: "Where were you?"

I scratched my head and said, "Well, I was out drinking with Prof and Damon and I had a little too much to drink and I don't remember the night at all."

She then looked at me and crossed her hands and I said: "Oh, come on I was with Damon Salvatore the infamous Damon Salvatore, if I didn't drink with him it would have been disrespectful and besides I tomorrow was a momentous occasion."

She nodded her head and said "Unbelievable" she then started to walk away but I grabbed her hand and said, "Hey, hey, come on." She still looked mad I then pulled her close and said "Okay, I am never drinking that much again, I promise." I then kissed her.

She smiled and said, "Come or we will be late for the assembly."

I smiled and said, "let's go meet the new Dick...tator..."

We were sitting in the hall and Landon was sitting with us and he looked at me and asked: "Dude what happened you look awful."

I smiled and said "I had a little more than usual, you should see prof. and Damon." and then I realise I don't know what happened to them.

Josie looked at me and asked, "Why did you stop?"

I reluctantly said, "I actually don't really know what happened to them." I have no recollection of last night.

Lizzie said "What?!"

I said, "I am sorry I was blackout drunk, I don't really know where they are, the whole night is like a blur."

Then the new headmaster came and started his speech "This school has survived a difficult year. There were monsters and Triad, and frankly, the headmaster you trusted to keep you safe ended up putting you in more danger." There were murmurs in the crowd.

I didn't like this guy now that is for sure. He then left the podium and continued "But this year will be different. It's high time this place ran with a little discipline and order. I expect you to work harder than ever before.

To be rigorous, to push yourselves. To be perfect. Because I believe every one of you is extraordinary. The students in this room have the power to literally change the world"

He then walked amongst us and said " To whom much is given much is required, and I am requiring of you to be better than humans ever could. Because the day is coming when we will step out of the shadows when you will no longer hide yourselves. Because the future is... supernatural" and at the end, he did a little bit of a trick to impress the feeble-minded. Many clapped but those who knew better sat in silence.

He then took the stage and said "To that end, I would like to award our Salvatore Medal of Freedom to the student who single-handedly defeated Malivore, Mr Landon Kirby." Oh this was good he looked soo surprised and I was also a bit sad because no one knew the truth. Landon then got on the stage and to get the medal.

I then looked around and almost every girl was looking at Landon and said to Josie "He is getting quite famous, amongst the ladies.~"

Josie smiled and said, "What are you getting jealous of him?~"

I smiled and looked at her and said "Now, why would I be jealous little witch. You are enough to stroke my ego.~"

Lizzie said, "Oh, for God's sake both of you please don't start here."

Both Josie and I laughed at that, it was pretty funny it was our inside joke.
