Ch.22 Meeting with my Uncle.

I was in a car and was driving and talking to Josie she asked "So what where are you going now?"

I said, "I am going to visit someone who may know something important."

She said, "And who is this guy?"

I laughed and said, "You know I can't tell you..."

She cut me off and said, "yeah, yeah I know... *sigh but at least tell me that this person you are going to meet is sane right?"

I said, "Well, yes... apparently this guy is the most sensible and responsible according to someone and may have more information on my situation."

Josie then heard the car and was suspicious and asked "Lucas did you buy another car?"

I said in an undertone "damn it how did she know?"

She was angry and said, "I heard that."

I said in a calm and soothing tone and said "It's fine I just invested in a 1966 Jaguar E-Type."

She sighed and said "Lucas you don't need that many cars... We don't have enough space for another car."

I said, "On the contrary my dear we, have a buttload of space."

She said, "Yeah and that was because of my dad and now he is not going to be here."

I said, "Josie I will work out some deal with the new Principle you don't have to worry about that." I then asked, "Do you know who is replacing your dad?"

She sighed and said, "I don't know... mom is still looking for someone."

I then asked, "How are you holding up?"

She said, "I am fine... but I am missing you."

I said, "I am missing you as well, trust me if I can get a hold of the situation I would leave this place right now."

She asked, "Can I really not ask as to what is going on?"

I said, "Then can I ask about the merge?"

She said "touche"

I said, "Not really I am going to tell you about this after it is done."

She said, "I will also tell you about this when I have a solution."

I reached my destination and I stopped the car and said "Listen Josie I got to go now. I will talk to you later."

She said, "Bye I will miss you."

I said, "me too now bye." I then ended the call I was currently standing in front of my uncle Amenediel's house. I was here because I wanted to talk to him about Uncle Micheal, from what I could understand he wants me here for some reason and I don't know what that is.

I was psyching myself before I also had my blade just in case. I looked at my suit and straightened my tie and looked at my hair and checked my breath. I knocked on the door and after a few moments the door opened and I saw a large man with a sturdy build the man was bald and had a beard, he was wearing a blue shirt and khaki. He looked at me and smiled and asked "Can I help you, young man?"

I looked at him and said "Ah... Yes, I am here to meet Amenediel? I was told this is his address."

He smiled and said "Yes, it is and I am Amenedieal. And you are?"

I said "I am sorry I am Lucas Clarke. Do you mind if we sat inside and talk?"

He said, "Ahh... no problem come on in."

We then went inside and the house was baby-proofed and he offered me a seat and went to the kitchen and asked "Would you like some coffee?"

I said, "Yes, please."

He then came with the coffee and I said "You have a lovely home."

He said, "Thank you but it's my wife's house."

I said "Well, a home is made with a family and I can assume you have a very beautiful family."

He said "Are you an insurance agent?"

I laughed and said "God... I mean no, I am not an insurance agent."

He then smiled and asked "Then why are you here Mr Clarke?"

I said "Very well, I... am your nephew."

He looked surprised and then laughed and said "That is a good one... I mean I fell for it... you look exactly like him with the hair and the suit and everything... " he laughed for a couple of minutes before saying "I needed that thank you Lucas I mean I am under a lot of stress and that really helped."

I said, "I really am your nephew though..."

He then said, "You are a good actor what did Lucy promise you an acting gig or something."

I then realized he will not listen like this so I got up and showed him my wings I didn't want to because of the suit. He looked at my leathery red wings and said "Holy... you are his son?"

I said, "Well, according to grandpa yes." I then took my wings back and thought another suit waisted ugh

He then looked serious and asked, "You meet with our father?"

I sat down and said, "Yes, grandpa came to meet me as soon as I came here."

He then asked, "Why are you here?"

I said, "I am here for some answers..." I then told him everything that had happened with me on that night how I got attacked by a demon with a silver blade and how Uncle Micheal came to the rescue with the medicine and everything.

He then sat down and said, "So you are saying Micheal wants you here?"

I said "Exactly and I don't know why?"

He then looked at me and asked "And you don't bear any ill will against your father or anything like that?"

I said, "No... not at all, my mother never told him about me and I didn't want to know about him... it is because of the recent circumstances that have led me in a quest to find some answers."

He said, "And why should I believe you?"

I said, "Because I genuinely have no desire for a throne?"

He looked surprised and asked, "How do you know?"

I said, "According to my assumptions after grandpa left, he might have met with other uncles and aunts and also might have told them about his retirement as well and secondly I only want my revenge on Uncle Michael."

He sighed and said, "I am sorry that the first time you come to see your family, you have to see them fighting amongst themselves." He sighed and said, "Lucas I am sorry but we are under a very great threat."

I said, "Oh, I know if uncle Micheal becomes the god he will smite you and father and to some extent maybe even me."

He said, "Do you know anything as to why he wants you here or Who will Grandpa make his successor?"

I said "Well, I don't know why he is here and as per grandpa said 'All will be taken care of by itself' from that I can concur that he will not choose his successor by himself and it will ultimately come down to (A) A free for all. (B) some sort of test that is beyond any reasoning to elect a new king. According to me, it can be a bit of both."

He sighed and sighed and said, "Yeah, that is just like him."

I then asked, "So are you gunning for the spot?"

He said, "No, I don't want that."

I was surprised and asked, "So it will be my father then?"

He nodded and I said, "Might I ask are god's orders an absolute?"

He said, "Yeah if you don't follow them you can end up in a very poor state."

I then said, "If my father will run for the spot he will clearly be shot down. So might I suggest something better?"

He looked at me and said, "What do you have in mind?"

I smiled and told him my plan and he said "Isn't that like cheating?"

I smiled and said, "You are god your words are absolute you can do whatever you want."

He then looked at me and asked "Then what do you want?"

I smiled and said "Nothing too complicated, some favours here, some favours there. I am giving you a winning strategy of course."

He then smiled and said, "You remind me of Lucy. I can't wait for the both of you to meet."

I just smiled and looked at him and he looked at me like he was impressed and I said "We have a deal?"

He shook my hand and said "Deal."

I then smiled and asked, "Now where is my cousin I want to meet him?"

Uncle Amenediel then took me to his kid's room and I saw charlie he was soo cute, he had a chubby face and was soo adorable. I asked, "How old is he?"

He said "4 weeks old."

I said, "Well, he is super healthy, I mean look at him."

He then looked at me and asked "So like are also an angle or something correct?"

I said, "Yeah an Arch angel according to Grandpa."

He then said, "But you are half-human though?"

I said, "I don't know Grandpa said that I am like an archangel of love and mind."

He then said, "Huh... well, your grandpa is very vague when it comes to giving out information."

I laughed and said, "I know."

He then asked, "Do you think Charlie can be an angle as well?"

I said, "The chances are a very high uncle, but I don't know when he will go through the change."

He then said, "Lucas I am really sorry that you are in this mess because of us."

I smiled and said, "I guess it is okay, I finally have some family and I got to meet my cousin."

After the meeting was over Uncle Amenediel came to see me off and I said "And Uncle don't tell father about our meeting... for now. We need to be sure that my theory is correct."

He asked, "And when that will be?"

I said "When Grandpa leaves. In the meantime let him do whatever he wants and do not let him know that I was here."

I then walked up to my car and Uncle laughed and said "You sure are his son."

I said, "Why because of my looks?"

He said, "No because of your taste in cars and suits."

I smiled and drove off. I then called Josie and told her that everything was good and she was happy to hear the news. I then went to my room and opened it and found someone that I was expecting.

I smiled and said "Uncle Micheal soo nice to see you."
