Chapter 191, Awakening of the Brave of the Sacred Sword

"To protect that which is important to you, I suggest you let go of your hesitations. All of you." She said as she gazed at us. "Or else, you might lose something priceless to you."

She turns to the Castor and Pollux and the Black Humunculus and then her gaze falls on me.

"My last word of advice to you. From someone who died because she hesitated, doubt and fear are your greatest enemies on the battlefield." She said. "My own Braves died when I hesitated and was killed by the enemy who used my dead Braves body which they took over."

"So that's how the Fourth Generation died." Van said as he analyzed her up and down.

"Before the darkness of the Chimeras, harden your hearts and fight with only one thing in your mind and heart." She said as she turned to Castor and pollux once more. "Braves fight so that they can go home to ones who await them."

That's all she says and Arata's hair turns back to normal and I immediately catch him as he begins to fall.

'Alistar, waver not, falter not, fear not, for your blade will surely pierce the darkness. So sharpen it, for Arata's sake.' In my mind, Evergreen's voice echoes one last time.

"How's Arata?" Will asked as I carried hin back.

"He'll be fine." I answered as I handed Arata to him.

"Alistar?" Alexis' tapped my shoulder as I tucked aside Arata's hair.

"I've made up my mind." I answered him as I took Arata's hand.

"Al..." Arata who opened his eyes looked at me.

"Arata..." I kneeled down as I held his hand.

"I, Alistar vow that my sword will never waver or falter, crack nor crumble, it shall mive forward and pierce the darkness before me." I lowered my head and kissed his hand. "So that the one I love can move forward without fear nor hesitation in his heart. I raise my sword for your will alone."

A golden light engulfs Arata and me, the light decapitates to reveal my crest, lighted with the same mark as Will and Liam but also another petal engraved with a sword.

"Alistar..." Arata's voice called me and I smiled and pressed my head to his. "I'll be back, Arata."

As I'm about to depart I realize that my clothes have also changed. A black shirt beneath a black trench coat with black pants and boots. A golden blade hangs from my belt and a Fleur Crest is engraved into my buttons. There are belts on my cuffs and waist as well as shoulder.

"So this is what it feels like." I smiled as I turned to the Gemini. "It's pay back time."

"We'll handle the small fries." Will said as he nodded to Liam. I smiled in appreciation as I drew my nlade at Castor and Pollux.

"Let's go!" I exclaimed and jumped into the sky.

"Black Void." Castor held his hand at my direction and suddenly a black bullet flashed before me.

"You've come to die, foolish Brave." Pollux who was behind me swinged down his sword but I mamged to dodge it.

"Let's see what you can do. Chevalier!" I slashed the bullet.

Chevalier, that blade that protects and shall never falter. It is a blade that shall slash down all who harm its master.

"I, Alistar Aster, will remove the obstacles that stand before my Flower's path. As the Regal Blade of the Sacred Flower!" I charged forward slashing away at the Chimeras before me with Gemini as my target.

"Ugh... what happened?" I asked as I opened my eyes.

"Arata, are you okay?" Pres. Mayumi asked as I propped myself on Ethan.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I answered and noticed my Crest. "Alistar..."

'Don't worry about me.' Al's voice echoed in my head. This is... Telepathy?! 'Arata, I'll come back to where you're waiting, so protect it and I'll protect you!'

"You better come home safely." I answered with a smile as I gazed up to the sky.

"Arata, we're going too." Will said. "We have to subdue the smaller Gemini.

"Alright. Leave the Black Humunculus to me." I said as I gazed at the Black Humunculus. "Van, Zander, Licht, help me."

"Ok." Zander answered.

"Let's go." Will and Liam charged into the fray.

"Arata, what do you have up your sleeve?" Van asked.

"I have a way to destroy the Black Humunculus." I answered.

"Really?!" Zander exclaimed.

"Yeah. I'm going to summon a certain Spirit." I answered.

"Spirit?" Van asked. "Will it work?"

"Yeah. To do so, I need you guys to hold it off for 1 minute. Can you do it?" I asked them.

"Yeah. Leave it to us." The three answered with grins on their faces.

I gather as much Vi as I can inside me and hope that it'll be enough to defeat the black Humunculus down.

"Torch Light!" I can hear Licht and the others shout but I must stay focused.

"Growth!" I called him overhead.

Growth shined in golden rays and I looked up to him.

"Thank you my friend. Are you ready?" I gazed up to him. "We must defeat it, I know that it might not work but even so, we have to try. The Black Humunculus must fall!"

"Arata? What are you doing?" Theo asked.

"My name is Fleur, my Crest is Fleur, my Brave is Fleur, my Familiar is Fleur. I seek the power to drive away the darkness once more." I chanted. "A tower of light for an ancients might, the golden plumage shall fall, soar to the skies familiar of the dawn, set a course for the shining future. Day Break Dawn!"

In the skies I see Growth's fetahers begin to fall as he begins to crumble.

"In exchange for my familiar, I, Arata seek the power of Fleur." I continued. "Farewell to you my friend."

Tears fell from my cheek as I saw Growth's core begin to emerge. A black sphere.

"The petals have fallen, the flower has withered, the price has been paid." I tried to hold back my tears. "Awaken upon this battle, Familiar of Fleur! Beginnings!"

In a golden flash, a humanoid spirit appears and as I lose consciousness I can see the last bits of Growth disappear into the sky. May it be enough to destroy the Black Humunculus.

"Thank... you... Growth..." With the last bit of my strength I say and I lose consciousness.
