Chapter 186, Awakening of the Brave of the Sacred Hammer

"Cyclone Scythe!" Andrew's scythe spun in the air destroying numerous Pisces.

"Arata, there's no end to them!" Ethan said as he blocked another blow.

"Just why are there so many of them?!" Zhen asked, throwing a knife killing a Pisces in random.

"I don't know either!" I answered as Growth continuously circled and killed the Pisces.

"Startrail Shot!" Alexis' arrow leaves a trail of stars as it destroys one Chimera after another. "They're starting to get on my nerves."

"Out of the way!" Will's voice shouted as he fell to the ground.

"Will! Are you alright?!" I exclaimed as I rushed to his side.

"I'm fine... but it pretty difficult trying to take out two True Beasts at once." He said as he tried to stand up.

"Aegis!" Ethan blocked the Pisces by erecting a gigantic barrier.

"What do we do?" Theo asked.

"We may need to consider retreating." I answered. "Leon, can you open a portal back to the school? We'll evacuate the wounded first."

"Alright." Leon said as he held his keys. "Voyaging Key, Portal Unlocked!"

He opens a portal by our side, I check the stability and it's good. It leads back to the school. With this we can evacuate all the wounded first.

"All wounded Braves, into the portal, quickly. We need all wounded Braves to evacuate." I announced. "If we can buy time, I might be able to do something with my spells."

"Then hurry! We'll buy you time!" Licht said as he, Van and Zander charged into the storm of Chimeras.

"Get the injured out of here quickly. We'll help hold the high ground!" Ryl who charged ahead smiled.

"Dance of the Wind, Wirlwind Blades!" In an instant, Lia slices the Chimera that manages to tear into the barrier. "Arata, you better hurry!"

"Heliodor Explosion!" Ryl throws a bomb into the Chimeras above us and it explodes destroying many Chimeras but the gap is immediately closed by more Pisces.

"Tch. They juat keep coming!" Theo said as he threw his Trident into the horde of Pisces.

I need a spell capable of defeating these many Chimeras... there must be one. If not, we're doomed, this city will become a Pisces unless we defeat all these Pisces.

"Chronicle!" I summon the Chronicle to my hand.

It's pages turn as I search fpr a spell capable of driving back these many Chimeras. What I find is just one spell, a spell of high tier, Scales of Destiny. It'll take a lot out of me... but...

"I, Arata..." I begin the chant.

"Wait!" A voice, Liam stops me from continuing.

-----

"Fire Hammer, Blaze Stamp!" My hammer slams to the ground and a fire wall burns a large amount of the Chimeras.

"Liam!" Arata smiled as I descended.

I didn't expect something like this to happen. A lagre amount of Pisces have descended on the city, many of our Braves are severely injured and Arata was about to try what seemed like a dangerous spell.

"Sorry I took so long." I smiled as I patted his head. "Now that I'm here, we can focus on pushing through the front line."

"With like that too but..." Will nodded to the skies.

"The True Beasts of Pisces..." I looked up to see the two figures hovering overhead.

"Soul Fire!" Licht's spell burned away a large amount of Pisces that I could see the sky clearly but it was quickly devoured by the Pisces.

"They won't descrease in number unless we take out the True Beasts." Arata stated.

"Will couldn't defeat them, it was too difficult to fight both True Beasts. Even with my new found power." Will stated as he held his guns. "Maybe if there were two..."

"Arata can you grant me the same power you granted Will?" I asked him.

"I don't even recall how I did it. I'm not sure I can." He answered me.

"Then I'll just have to make do with a Level Boost." I said.

"It's too risky!" He answered.

"Please Arata. If we don't do anything soon, we'll be overrun, I don't know how much longer Ethan's Aegis will hold." I told him as I held his hand.

"But even so!" He argued. "I can't do it! If I let you go, you might die!"

"Arata, I promise you. I won't die, I'll come back to where you are. Just like when you made me your Sacred Brave, how you and Will willingly risked your lives for me." I said and held his hand tightly. "I want to willingly risk my life to protect yours. Arata, as your hammer, will definitely deliver justice and vengance on the ones who have raised their fangs against us. So, let me go."

In a golden flash both Arata and I were surrounded in a tower of light. Growth flew above head and sunflower fell and surrounded Arata before the petals swirled into my Crest. As the petals and light cleared, my Crest had changed, on the first petal was Will's gun and on the second was my hammer.

My attire had also completely changed, a black sleeveless turtleneck with a blue short jacket with golden trimmings. Black gloves that reach my lower biceps, brown pants that are tucked into silver boots, a golden belt where a hammer hanged.

"Liam, I trust you. So come home to me safely." Arata smiled and I nodded.

"I will, as the Loyal Paladin of the Sacred Flower." I smiled. "So Will, can you leave the Pisces to me and protect Arata? I promise I'll definitely defeat them."

"Alright. I leave Pisces to you." He said.

"Here I come Pisces, ready or not. I'm taking both of you down!" I said as I pulled the hammer from my belt. "Verdict! Azure Fate!"

When I slam my hammer on the ground, a cyclone of wind begins to swirl and blows a path straight up to the Pisces.

"Well then, Alrescha, Alpherg, I'll have you pay for what you did to our town." I said as I gripped my new hammer.

"Foolishness." Alrescha and Alpherg answered as they attacked me.
