Chapter 119, Budding Yet Not Blooming

"Ugh... did I pass out from over use of Vi again?" I rubbed my eyes and opened them and found myself in front of the other Fleurs.

"Sorry to pull you in here so suddenly, Arata." Elias said.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"The enemy you just fought... it was no ordinary foe." Hazel said. "Be wary of that person. They have a horrifying power."

"It is not just any power, it is a power that may very well upset the order of the world." Erika stated.

"Be wary of those beside you as well." Emilia said. "Though may love you, not everyone will like you. Some will be wary of your popularity and light."

"A warning. Be careful. There are those who despise your light and will unknowingly cling to the darkness simply to extinguish it." Aster said.

"There's more we want to say but... it seems your body has begun to Awaken. We can't keep you here much longer." Julius said. "Head back for now. Arata, the time we may meet is growing shorter and shorter as the days pass by and your power grows. Be wary of its growth."

"Why?" I asked.

"The greater the contents the larger the vessel must be. Your body must learn to keep up with the growth of your power." Ivy stated. "If not you might eventually hurt yourself. Never forget, your flower has yet to bloom."

"Okay." I answered.

That's rught, I've been practicing but my flwoer has yet to bloom. No matter what I do, I can never get it to bloom. Nor can I learn it's name. I've only ever made it bud. I have to train to make it bloom and soon. If I can learn the name of my flower then it would be a great help to us in battle as my power would finally go over its limits.

"Well then, take care." Evergreen smiles and pulls me back and I smile and wave farewell.

My body begins to glow and I awake from my sleep to find myself sleeping on my bed. Looks like I've overdone it again. I get up and look around, the scent of fresh baked bread fills the air.

"He's awake!" Mao exclaimed and hugs me suddenly from the other side of the table. "Thank goodness!"

"We were very worried." Pres. Mayumi said as she came in with the other students.

"Arata how are you feeling?" Touya asked and I smiled

"I'm fine." I smiled. "Just... a little hungry."

"Oh, then leave it to me." Lia smiled and placed down a basket of feeshly baked bread. "I've made a lot, enough for everyone."

"Eat up." Theo smiles.

We all eat and I smiled as we all ate. I understand that I must be cautious of the ones I keep by my side from now on but I want to believe that there isn't a person in this school who will hurt their fellow classmates for no reason.

"Tch. He is still fine. Why? Why? Why?!" The girl quickly paced around in her room. "He needs to die!!"

She was angry, she despised a certain person. In her room, a picture of that person that was on a dart board was covered in cuts and holes.

"Karin-chan, are you okay in there?" The voice of her best friend, Kimie was heard from the other side of her door.

"Yeah. Don't worry me. I was just cleaning bit." She answered.

"Oh, if you say so." She answered and left.

"Tch. It's all his fault!!" She kicked her wall. "If he wasn't here! If he wasn't here! Then! Then, Will and everyone would love me instead of him!"

Karin mind was filled with hatred for Arata, she had long wished for him to disappear and it all started that day when school first began and he caught the attention of Liam.

"Tch. If he wasn't here!!!" She raged on and on kicking aside everything in her room.

This went on for hours till finally she came out of her room after she made herself look more presentable. It seems she was more composed nowas she walked down the hallway but her composer is nearly broken when a student exclaims that Arata had awoken causing all the students there to rush to his room.

Karin's jealousy and rage towards Arata only grew and grew as the days passed by. She has despised him with every inch of her being.

"Master, was it fine to leave that quickly?" Addy asked as I sipped my tea.

"Yes. It was fine." I answered. "It seems that right now, we are not strong enough to fight the Le Fleur."

"When we had them cornered?" Eddy asked.

"Had you not noticed? The Le Fleur hadn't even summoned his Familiar or activated his Regalia." I told them. "Meaning he hadn't used his true power yet."

"I suppose he hasn't." Eddy answered.

"Besides, there was someone there who overflowed with negative energy so much that the remaining Gems all resounded with them." I stated.

"Ehh? The Gems did?" Addy asked and I smiled.

"Perhaps that puece I didn't expect to be useful still has some use." I smiled as I felt the Gems of Sin resonating deep in me.

The Gems of Envy, Wrath, Vainglory and Pride are all responding to a single person. Karin Kanase. It seens that she has great rage over the Le Fleur and will be useful in nurishing my precious plant.

"So, will master use her?" Addy asked.

"Not yet, but soon." I answered. "Both of you find someone compatible with the Gem of Lust. Hurry."

"Yes sir." The two answered and disappeared.

I didn't expect her to despise him this much but... if so let her be. She'll be useful in helping the Le Fleur grow before I pick it. The more nutrients I feed it, the more power it will have before I devour it.

My precious flower, the flower I've cultivated for years, why won't you bloom yet? I've been raising the Le Fleur for years yet it only buds, it never blooms, not once. Could it be that it still lacks nutrients or that it needs more exposure? Whatever is needed, I'll provide it as long as my flower blooms. It will bloom, so that I mat devour it.
