"Chairman, Miss Sutton Is here to see you," their conversation was halted when a servant suddenly informed them about Gabi's arrival.
"Gabi is here?" Lyle got up, his face turned even paler. "Why would she come here?"
"Are you telling me that Gabriel Sutton is here?"
"Yes, Chairman."
Old Man Quigly immediately frowned. "Take her to the drawing-room."
"Yes, sir."
After the servant left, Lyle sat back down and asked. "Grandfather… she is here for me."
"I know." Old Man Quigly said. The method that he used to suppress the news was very obvious. Anyone would immediately notice it. Especially the one who purposely spread it. But really… what can she do about it? "Stay here and wait for me. I will go see that woman."
"I want to come with you."
"No. I am going to see her alone."
"But— "
