So from there the duo continued north only stopping when they absolutely had to and only for as long as they had to. This was mostly because the farther north they traveled the more dangerous the bandits they crossed on their journey. This concerned Rebekah but Marcus was more then able to take care of those he came across not to mention their mystery guardian angel if you could call them an angel.

They were now currently approaching the next city on their journey which was the walled city Crowfung. This was one of the last safe places for non-thieves. It was a guard training city, and thus heavily guarded as well as full of armed men willing to die for those unable to protect themselves.

"Halt sate your name and business here!" called a guard from the city wall.
