Escape (5)
Kaida returned with the lady and acted like nothing happened.
"Where have you been " Kane stormed , barging into the room .
He walked towards the lady treating Kaida , lifting her up , he squeezed her neck so tight that she was unable to breath .
"Gagging , sh.... she was here all along , I ... didn't let her out " the lady said , eyes watering .
Kaida stare at them , she knows the lady could have tell the truth but why not ? .
Kane dropped her ,
"You tried to kill yourself , why ?" He questioned staring deep into her eyes .
He has been with her for more than a decade, he knows she does not do things without much reasoning , there's a reason for why she tried to hurt herself.
She's either planning something or just toying with him .
She smiled at him , " I don't want to be held captive anymore, let me out ! " .
"Laughs , that not possible princess! , you always have a game up your sleeve.
"Wow! Are you that afraid of me ? " she said coldly giving a sinister smile .
"Maybe hurting myself will help you get orb " She said .
She hopes he'll take the bait , ones she's out she'll be able to find her friends and figure a way out for the arkadians, she might have failed them ones but not anymore.
He gestured for one of the guards to untie her ,
"Take her to the ware house , where she'll be working " .
The guard nodded , before he stepped out he drag the guard back.
"Keep an eye on her ,who she sees and talk , make sure she never gets to see the others " he said in a whisper .
The guard nodded before leading her out .

She knew that slyly fox won't let her out that easily .
No matter where she goes , she was being followed.
She needs to divert their attention to something else , she knows where Harper is but not the others , she needs to find Freya and only one person can help her with that .
"Come out now , I know you're hiding there " she called out .
She brought out a blade slitting her wounded wrist .
" whimpering, I need to see the lady who treated me , my wounds opening up, if anything happens how will Kane get the orb " .
She waited a bit and nothing happened, the lady's the only way to save the arkadians .
*Sighs*
Moment later the guard appeared,
She was grateful he decided to show up , trying to keep her eyes opened.
He looked down at her wrist she was really bleeding.
He cut out his coat throwing it in her direction to tie her bleeding wrist with it .
" follow me " .
She walked straight ahead , while he was at the back holding the blade to her neck .

"Fix her " he said to the lady .
"You have to step out!" The lady said to the guard , he glare at her then walk out .
Once he was out, Kaida held the lady .
"You almost got me killed, you should be glad I didn't sell you out ".
"You were also trying to protect maltida " Kaida said .
The lady stare at her , she brought her tools to disinfect the wound .
"You need to tell Freya to meet me at the emergency shelter tonight " she said glaring at the lady .
"Why ? Why should I risk my own life to help you again ?" .
"Because you're the only one that can help me " Kaida said pleadingly.
"Kane would get me killed , he kills whoever betrayed him , why would I risk that ? Any one who betrays him get annihilated along side with their entire family , so why would I risk my family to save yours ".
"How long will it take " the guard questioned .
"Almost " the lady replied .
"Because I can help your sister maltida , I'm an important tool Kane wants if I ask him to free your sister from slavery he will ".
"Scoff, every skywatchers are born a Slave , they are no important one here in skywatchers, some might be favoured but still we are all a slave " .
"Your sister will be favored, help me just this ones " .
She's the only way she can save her family from Kane , from the skywatchers.
The arkadians fate is in her hand .
"What ever happens to me you protect my sister ".
"She's done " ,she called out to the guard.

She has been waiting for the right moment to escape, she needs to create a distraction.
She knows the guards will be out there , going out through the window , she light up the farm .
"Fire!!!!! One of the guards raised the alarm .
Amidst the chaos she run towards the emergency shelter.

"How the hell did you get here ? " Harper questioned .
"What about Freya ?" She asked.
"What ar....
he was interrupted by the sudden burst in the room , a figured rushed in kicking Kaida sending her flying .
She stood up , ready to fight but then she saw the smiling face of her friend.
"You're the protector of arkadians? You got a lot to do" Freya said .
"How did you both got here ?" Harper questioned .
"No time for that Harper , we need to find a way to escape, our people relies on us , our people are dying and the skywatchers are not treating them nicely " Kaida said .
"The guards are always on the lookout for the arkadians , so how ? There's no way we can escape without getting killed " Freya said .
"Do you think we can escape?" Freya asked .
"I don't know ," Freya said ,it seems impossible ".
"I have an idea," Harper said ."I've been doing some research on this place . I think I know a way out."
"Really?"Kaida asked ,intrigued.
"Yes"Harper said. "There's an underground tunnel that leads to outside the arkadians territory. It not on any of the maps so , so the skywatchers won't know about it ".
"That brilliant" Kaida said .
"Wow! You're not just with a beauty face , well done boy" Freya said slapping him on the back lightly.
Kaida raised her brow , "but how do we get there ?" She asked , that a lot , they have to be careful if they are to leave without getting most of their people killed .
"We have to be careful, "Harper said . We'll have to sneak around and avoid the guards . I have a map that shows the way . We can use it to guide us ".
"Ok let do it," Kaida said , but we have to inform our people without making the skywatchers suspicious.
"I can do that , I have asses to our people, you know I trained the guards and also Finn so we can help with that " Freya said .

They spent the next few days planning their escape. They made sure to keep their plan secret from everyone else . They knew that if the skywatchers found out they would be killed .

Kane was growing suspicions , Kaida no longer tried to see her friends, he knows pretty well she's up to something and yet he couldn't pin point out what is .
None of the arkadians gave him a chance to figure out what they are up . She can't easily accept her fate , and he has been trying really hard for her to use her power maybe that way he'll find the orb .

Finally the day of the escape arrived. kaida with the arkadians waited around midnight , when the guards could no longer bother about them .
They snuck out of their cells and made their way to the underground tunnel .
"Are you sure this is the right way ? " Freya asked, looking around placing her hand on her sword .
"Yes, Harper said ."just keep following the map ."
As they made their way through the tunnel , their heard the sound of foot steps behind them .
"Quick ,hide!"Kaida whispered motioning for her friends to duck behind some rocks .
