Itsy Bitsy

A boy with blue hair walks along a sidewalk, his clothes were burnt and destroyed. Behind him was a burning gas station, a huge cloud of smoke can be seen rising over it. The boy just kept walking, and suddenly he collapsed. No longer walking, he layed still on the side walk.

The boy woke up hours later in a feeling of dizziness. 'What... was I doing? What am I supposed to... do? Ow... my head is killing me. Who... am I? I am... a... pepper? That can't be right... I am a... no! I am... pepper. I am pepper. I can walk... I can talk... I know how to count... I can read... I am able to remember but there is no past that I can remember.' pepper thought, as he fought himself to stand.

"I guess... I'll look around, sitting here is pointless, I don't know where I am but... I know I'm a... no. I know I'm pepper." pepper mumbled to himself, as he walked through an unknown city.

'Damn, it's kinda hot... it must be summer. Why do I know this? Whatever, I'll just cool down in that alley for now.' pepper thought, as he walked to an alley

pepper sat criss cross on a box in an alley way, he wiped sweat from his forehead and sighed.

'Hmm... I don't really know what to do other than walk around this place, there aren't any other people anywhere, and it'd be rude to just knock on someone's door. But where did I get these injuries from? I didn't even exist until a few hours ago and I remember everything up until now. Nothing makes sense.' pepper thought to himself, as he tried to piece his puzzled mind together.

pepper darted his eyes further down the alley way, he couldn't understand why because nothing moved and there was no sound. A moment later, a window was smashed open and a man came flying through, he had muscles like grass has green. pepper instinctively jumped back, he went a lot further than he meant to, but pepper knew that now was not the time to worry about that. The man ran at pepper, it almost looked like lightning came from the man's temples. The man swung at pepper, but with inhuman speed, pepper jumped and landed on the man's arm and moved a few steps up to his shoulder. As the man realized where pepper was, pepper used his left foot and kicked the man in the teeth. The man's face felt like it had caved in and he went flying back and smashed into a wall. pepper fell off of him as the man flew back, but pepper landed on his toes and finger tips. Suddenly pepper's head darted over to his left and he saw a knife come flying at him, pepper shot a web from his right wrist which attached to the knife and he pulled it away from him.

'What the hell did I just do? Whatever, I'm getting out of here.' pepper thought as he ran to the exit of the alley way. Once pepper arrived to the exit, cars had pulled in, they blocked pepper's path. Men with guns shot at pepper. pepper jumped up and dodged the bullets, he also shot a web and grabbed one of their wallets that he noticed was sliding out of one of their pockets. pepper instinctively landed on the wall and climbed up it. As pepper got to the roof of the building, he ran and jumped to the next, and the next, again, and again, until he felt safe.

Whatever just happened, pepper doesn't quite understand, but he tested what he can do and he wasn't sure if it was normal, but he didn't see any of those people use any weird powers so pepper thought he was somehow special. pepper instantly thought he could use these powers to gain whatever he wants. But pepper got hungry, so he decided to look for food.

pepper saw a ramen shop, so he climbed down the building and got onto the sidewalk. pepper noticed people were staring at him, and pepper realized he just did something superhuman in public, to avoid attention he thought he'd try keep it low. pepper kept his head low and walked across the street and into the ramen shop.

"Hello, welcome." The lady that worked there said as she tried to ignore his injuries and showed him to his table. pepper looked at the menu.

"I think I'll have the Miso Ramen With Pork, please." pepper asked, kindly.

"Of course, coming right up!" The lady said, with a smile.

within five minutes the ramen was done and on pepper's table.

"Hey, if I may ask, wasn't this ramen made a bit quickly? I'm pretty sure it should take longer than that." pepper rose an eyebrow as he questioned the lady.

the lady smiled. "We happen to have a world famous chef working here, his name is Snonji, he said he likes small and easy places better than fancy places, I can't believe you didn't know that." The lady said, as she walked away.

"Hmm... I see. Anyway, I'm starving." pepper thought, as he devoured the ramen.

Once pepper had finished he looked into the wallet he stole. "Hey, this isn't even that thug's wallet. He stole this from some girl. It has over twenty thousand dollars inside... I'll still return the wallet, but I'll be keeping a lot of the money as payment." pepper thought, as he peered into the wallet.

pepper layed down two hundred dollars and a note which explained that he was unsure of the cost and for the lady to take whatever is left and thanking her.

pepper went into a store and got some new clothes and a wallet of his own, he used about five hundred on his new tuxedo and wallet. He took ten thousand out of the girl's wallet and put it in his own wallet.

"I feel like absolute garbage, and I'm really tired. But I can't really get anywhere without an I.D. I'm lucky I've got this far without one. Guess I'll have to get one, however that works." pepper said, as he ended with a long and exhausted sigh.

'That took way longer than I wanted, it's completely dark out, where am I even gonna stay?' pepper thought, as he looked around the city. 'Well, that place is lit up, maybe I can stay there. It's called... The Platinum Star? The Star on it is a tarot card. It's my only option and not a bad one at that.' pepper continued thinking, as he walked to The Platinum Star.

The next day, pepper woke up feeling better, but only physically.

"Man... what is wrong with me? I feel... like there's something I should have but I don't have it. Ugh! It's driving me crazy!" pepper shouted, in frustrating confusion.

'Maybe I should take a walk and get used to the area and get my mind straight.' pepper thought, as he left his room.

As pepper walked out of the building, he instantly began to shiver. "What the hell? Why is it so freaking cold? Isn't it summer? Is... Is that SNOW?!" pepper shouted, trying to make sense of the weather. "Whatever, it's pointless to try to make sense out of it. Guess I'll just take my walk." pepper said, with a sigh of annoyance.

"Alright, I think I understand the layout of the city I'm in. Time to head back and lay down for the night." pepper thought, as he watched the sun setting.

Laying in his bed, pepper reads a book. As he reads, his eyes shoot to look at the door, and then pepper heard a knock, it wasn't very gentle so pepper got up quietly and cautiously. pepper makes his way to the door and looks through the peep hole, he sees the muscular man from before. The man goes to punch the door and pepper jumps really far backwards and hits his back against the wall. The man punches through the door and climbs through the hole, he tore some of his shirt going through it. pepper shoots a web at the man and blinds him but the man removes the web from his face and then runs at pepper. pepper quickly jumps and front flips over him. The man straightened himself and turned around. "Haha! The name's Nidai, you're so full of shit that you might just be a worthy opponent!" Nidai says in a loud voice.

"I don't like fighting, you're annoying me." pepper says, with a serious face.

pepper decides to use this as an opportunity to learn more about his abilities, so he will rely on instinct during the fight. pepper jumps up, almost hitting the roof and uses both wrists to shoot out webs that attach to Nidai's arms and pull him to pepper, Nidai's eyes widened showing that he didn't expect it. Once Nidai got close enough, pepper had eight spider-like legs come out of his back which tore his suit. Each leg was blue like pepper's hair but just a bit darker. Every leg shot itself into Nidai's face as if they were punching him.

"Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora!!!" pepper shouted as he pummeled Nidai's face.

pepper stopped and Nidai's face was destroyed even worse than it already was from last time.

"Ahhh! P-Please, spare me! I shouldn't have attacked you!" Nidai screamed, coughing up blood, pleading for his life.

'Hmm... I could probably use him if I let him live.' pepper thought, considering sparing Nidai.

"Alright, Nidai, you will bring ten thousand dollars exactly every month to the park South of this hotel, I expect to see you in thirty days." pepper said, as he looked down on Nidai who sat on the ground.

"Y-Yes, sir!" Nidai said, as he ran away.

'Well, at least my money problem is solved, I doubt he'll want another ass whooping.' pepper thought as his eyes slowly looked at the destroyed door. "Awww, damn it! Whatever, I'll just pay to fix it." pepper yelled, as he walked into the elevator.

'It seems like there's still a lot that I don't know about me, my ability seems like it's mainly spider based, maybe I should study them.' pepper thought, as he looked at his new door.
