Chapter 3 - Training The king

A few days had passed and Uther was finally coming to and he was waking up, he then heard the noise of a door cracking open and saw his wide step through and she had a huge smile on her face. He looked at her and said "I could have sworn that I saw Arthur as they carried me back into the castle". As he was busy saying this his wife moved to the side and young Arthur stepped into the room and said "Hey dad, I missed you". He started to cry and opened his arms to hug Arthur and he them started to cry and hugged him so tightly and said "I'm so sorry that I wanted to give up on you". Arthur pushed away from his father and smiled and said "Its fine father, I would have done the same".

" I do apologize for breaking up this family reunion but king Apollo requests Uther to see him in the throne room at once. He then s at up but took a lot of strength out of him, the royal guard said that he would help Uther to the throne room if he couldn't make it there by himself. Uther started to get up and fell over but Arthur caught him and his father looked at him and said, "You got so strong over the years my boy". He then stood straight up and singled to the guard to assist him to the throne room. They then exited the door and went up the stairs and vanished as they reached the top.

They had finally arrived at the throne rooms door and knocked, King Apollo opened the door and looked at Uther and said, "I hope you feel better my old friend" . Uther nodded and king Apollo helped him into the chair that he had left there for him to sit in and he started to pace in front of Uther and started to speak.

"Uther we all know that you were severely injured on the battle field and to be honest with you I will not let you step on it ever again, we have known one another since we were children and your family has been by my families side for centuries and I am saying this as your friend that I want you to retire. You can still live in the castle". As king Apollo was busy saying this Uther had noticed his shadow looked weird and something was behind him but for some reason he couldn't muster up any strength to warn him. King Apollo just froze and stood in silence as he just stared at Uther and heard a voice telling him mean things about Uther and as this manically female voice, he repeated everything she said, "You are absolutely useless, you froze in battle and you wanted to give up on your one and only son. How could you be so damned useless. I will banish you from my castle and I don't want to see you ever again, I despise you and you're filth".

King Apollo summoned the guards and he demanded that he get this filth out of his castle and he stated the filth's family as well. They then moved to the village where everyone was extremely poor but people always helped one another but Uther couldn't do any work what so ever so Arthur had to become a farmer even at such a young age and he only did so for his mother who never gave up on him. Months had gone by and the family was barely surviving and one day Uther just started to drink and just became such a useless and pitiful excuse for a man. One day as Arthur was feeding the animals he had to look after he heard his mother call him and what she wanted to ask him how he was taking all of this. He heard her and he entered the house. Saw his father sitting at the table and he was busy drinking early in the morning and he smelt alcohol and someone who hadn't bathed in months.

He saw his mother in his bedroom, such a bright and beautiful woman he thought but he noticed something about her eyes and a shadow who wasn't hers menacing over her. She grabbed him and hugged him but hugged him to tightly, "mom you're hurting me". She then pushed him away and slapped him through the face and as he fell he saw this figure whispering into his mothers ear. He noticed her eyes were motionless. Dark Lilith had infected King Apollo, Uther and now Arthur's mother. Arthur's mother kept hearing, "This child is the reason your husband can't look after his family, the is the reason that she had to give up 9 years of her life to look after him, this boy was the reason everything in her world had gone to hell and all their troubles had started when this boy was born".

As this was happening, as Arthur's mother was busy abusing him terribly there was a commotion outside in the towns square and Arthur's mom noticed an enormous rock fall from the sky and it had an object sticking out of it but she noticed that Arthur was hiding and trembling in the closet and she went to fetch a piece wood that was on fire and took it to him and she went and burnt Arthur on the body and he screamed in agony for his father to save him but Uther didn't hear because Dark Lilith blocked everything out but the alcohol that was taking over his body and his mind. Several year had passed and it was Arthur's 18th birthday and the abuse just got worse.

He had woken up extra early to head outside to feed the animals and he wanted to get away from his abusive mother because she always started abusing him at about 6 am every day. Arthur was busy feeding the pigs when he saw a group of people gathering in the towns courtyard and he also saw guards busy giving orders and as he finished he heard his mother waking up and calling his name so he ran towards the crowd and the guards pushed him away and told him that he was too young so he then sneaked passed the guards and he was drawn to the sword that had been sticking out of the stone.

He then stepped forward as the guards were distracted by a drunken man that he realized was his father, he stepped towards the sword and grabbed onto to it with both of his hands and started to pull and it slowly but surely started to come out and as this was happening the world was shaking under Arthur's feet . As he pulled the sword out he was mesmerized by this weapon and it was busy speaking to him and as he was holding it in the air a beam of light appeared from the heavens above and a hand peered out of this beam and pulled him in and all that Arthur saw was a females hand with long nails, it looked burnt and had a distinctive dark vein to it.

Arthur had woken up laying on the ground, as he opened his eyes he was looking at the beautiful night skies , He saw shooting stars but this world had felt like it was forever standing still. He sat up and saw this stunning breathtaking woman but as she turned to look at him he noticed the one side of her face had a mask on it and her left arm had a glove on it and he wondered to himself why such a gorgeous lady would be hiding her face from the world. She go to him and started to speak, "Arthur my name is Lilith and I have rescued you from that awful place you call a home, I have been watching you and I have gathered you because I believe that you have been chosen to be great. I am the one who put the sword in stone in your village to see if you are worthy to save my world."

"Where are we?" asked Arthur as he looked around and had only noticed a little cottage in the far distance. "I have brought you to a world with no tome what so ever, there is where we will be living until you have mastered you training" (Lilith) "What training?" (Arthur) He then jumped up and picked up the sword and read on it the name "Excalibur". As he was doing this Lilith said "get ready the first wave begins now". A dozen mutated wolves were attacking him but he killed them off with such ease, "Is that all you've got ?" Arthur asked as he swung around his sword that he just knew it was for him.

The next wave was 110 mighty and powerful Cyclopes with enormous maces and this time Arthur had to actually break a sweat but he did so none the less. The third wave was a thousand gremlins that he defeated with great ease. He was thinking to himself "Oh this is seriously to easy". The next wave Lilith summoned of the most powerful gods, Zeus<Hades and Poseidon and this time Arthur seriously broke a sweat . He was exhausted and he fell to his knees. Lilith looked at him and said "This next wave is going to be the worst and then this demonic creature had appeared and it looked like Arthur's father. He looked up at it and he yelled "I cannot kill my father and I will not I refuse". "Alright then you leave me no choice" Lilith said as she turned this entity into Arthur's mother and as he saw this he started to cry and just froze in fear, Lilith kept on screaming at him to get angry, to get furious for this was the woman who had abused to for a very long time.

Arthur slowly stood up, holding Excalibur in his hands and raised the sword into the sky and Armour all of a sudden appeared on his body following a bright purple lines that formed on his body as this Armour had been formed Arthur yelled something and ran and just sliced this creature in half and it just disintegrated. What Arthur had just done took an immense amount of power out of him and he just fell backwards and had fainted and as he did so he could hear a woman scream.
