Knights & Magic: The QuinTesTial Knight

The who one posses' the quintestial Knights ------------------------------------------------ ______________________________________________ To those who are confused about what happened to this book. The potential was wasted since after chapter one, I couldn't find a way to continue it. So, I recycled the book into an original novel. Though for some stupid reason I can't change the type to novel anymore. I hope I could at least make a great book with this.

Tehee, te nandayo!

In the grand capital, in the throne room of the king's palace. "I'm sorry to keep you waiting, your majesty. These are my grandchildren, Stellaria Echevalier, and Ernesti Echevalier. " Lauri, the twin's grandfather spoke on behalf of them.

"It is an honor, to meet you, sire." The twins spoke in unusual unity and same pacing, it was as if they were with one mind to be in such synchronization.

"The report said the children were a girl and boy." One of the ministers spoke. "It is true, I can prove it if I must." Ernesti answered while still bowing his head.

"Fearless and straightforward despite his appearance, he is Lauri's." Another minister spoke. "Thank you for inviting us, your majesty. "Lauri spoke."

"I'm impressed, they are quite composed for someone of their age. It would be nice if more children would be so respectful." The king commented. "We are honored by your praise, your majesty."

"I'm sure by now you've been wondering why I have summoned you. Your victory the other day was… unexpected to say the least- and presented quite the conundrum. I'm unsure how to reward you both for it."

"Thank you, but Stella and Ernesti do not require a reward, they are still children." Lauri spoke. "Children or not, I will not fail to properly reward those who have slain a behemoth singlehandedly."

"What is it that you desire, name it, and it shall be yours." The king spoke as Ernesti's eyes perked up in interest. Is that really the case, or was it just a test? Should he just gamble and throw it out?

"In that case, I ask for this sire, I want knowledge." Stella and Ernesti looked up to see the king and spoke. "Knowledge that can't be found in books. Only you can grant this to me sire. I want to know how to make an ether reactor. The heart of a knight!"

Ernensti's eyes widened as he had just realized he was speaking on beat with Stella. Why did she speak the exact same words that he spoke? It was very bizarre!

Lauri gasped in disbelief at their words. The old minister even widened his now narrow eyes due to advanced age. The room turned silent as the old minister spoke.

"You, ingrate! You dare take advantage of the king's generosity! That is one of our nation's greatest treasures, a secret kept for generations-!" "Eschar, that's quite enough." The king interrupted as he put on an amused smile.

"You are correct, young Echevaliers. I am the only one who can grant you such knowledge." He spoke. "But I must ask, what will you do once you learn the mystery of the knight's heart?"

Stella opened her mouth and answered. "I want to learn the Silhouette knight's heart because I want to apply such knowledge to other things such as advancement of our current technology."

"Do things really have to stay the way it is? Then why did God give us knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence then? From what we have learned, we have applied and changed according to our will. Magic for example."

"We studied it, learned about it, and then created more advance and complex spells in ease of our daily life. But centuries ago, we started from just moving around mana."

"But then, we started improving, we learned how to shape it, change its properties, transform it into spells that do what we want. All because of our knowledge about it. I, myself had created and derived new magic."

"All because I had sufficient knowledge, allow me to demonstrate." Stella asked permission as the king nodded, she stood up. And walked towards a knight.

"Mister knight, let me borrow your weapon." Stella asked as the knight gave his halberd to her. Stella raised her left hand as the rings in her fingers glew. "Acceleration; decay."

A bounded field appeared on the weapon as it started to undergo accelerated change in a pace that it decayed too… quickly. The metal rusted away as the wooden handle decayed.

A minute fully passed, and the weapon was now no different from the dust we see on the side of the road. "This spell accelerates the aging of any object in the bounded field."

"I had derived it from barrier spells which separate space from outside to inside. From there I started modifying the spell's program commands and initiation lines until I got the desired effect."

"See? Given enough knowledge and intelligence, paired with wisdom to know where and how to apply the said knowledge, we can advance from simple to small. And this is what I could do with the current knowledge I hold."

"Even my brother was able to change and reprogram all the controls for a Silhouette knight and recalibrate all the information to fit him. Just because he had the knowledge to do so."

"So what if I learn more things and apply them to other things? New forms of transportation, new technologies for ease of daily life, and even new models of Silhouette Knights!"

"Man, given knowledge and wisdom, with enough drive, can do anything he wants!" Stella showed her hands displaying the rings she created. "And these, I also created them myself, with the help of my brother of course."

"Do our magic catalysts necessarily need to be in the shape of rods? Or could we change that fact and fit in the inscriptions and enchantments into things like rings which are less cumbersome to carry."

"This was all because I had the knowledge and wisdom to create them! Of course, given that I also had the ability to think of and create such things."

"I, Stellaria Echevalier, am a person that is capable of defeating Division class beasts, a genius in magic, and a small-time inventor. What more do I want to improve with myself?"

"Why not just help others who are not as good as me? Not everyone is as talented in me, but with the help of technology and knowledge, they could do things far more than what they are capable."

"I want to help others since I am already far better off than others, I can do so, and could afford to do so. The only thing I am lacking right now is knowledge in how to do so."

Stella, again, knelt on her knees and spoke. "So, your majesty. Please, bestow upon me and my brother the knowledge to create ether reactors." Stella finished as the room turned quiet.

"Ahahaha! What a ridiculous answer. You truly surprised me, and I didn't expect it. The knowledge is granted then, however, first prove it to me that the knowledge would fit nicely into your hands."

"Create your own knight. Over this challenge, you will merely need to create a chassis, and if the design and abilities are within my standards, you will be granted the knowledge."

"With how wise and intelligent you are as you have shown us, you will surely be able create one, right?" The king inquired as Stella faced Ernesti, "Yes, your majesty." They spoke in unison.

*Flicker*

The marquis Joachim Selati invited his children back from the academy. "Father. It's good to see you again." Stephania greeted him and stood behind him.

"Indeed, it seems that you are doing well." He replied. "So uh, what's the reason you called us here, father?" Addy asked. Stephania informed me that you two are rather close to Ernesti and Stellaria Echevalier."

"Um, yeah?" Kid answered, well, half answered. "His majesty the king, has taken quite the liking to the both of them as well. I'm interested in the sibling's progress."

"If he is successful is any way, let me know at once. I want to be the first to inform his majesty about it. Addy put her hand on her chest and spoke. "I don't know, if we do that, will it help them?"

"Yes of course. Though I would prefer it that you don't mention anything about this conversation to them. I don't want to distract them; their task is overbearing on its own already."

*Flicker*

Back at Laihiala Academy city, the silhouette knights that were given to the Academy for training purposes were quite wrecked after the fight, it was quite evident on itself after the fact that they fought a division-class demon-beast.

It would be no surprise; they were just students that had never faced true danger until they had fought against the Behemoth which was a level on its own, damage to the silhouette knights was unavoidable.

Of course, going by that logic, the entire workshop was busy running around opening up the silhouette knights in order fix the problems in their inner system and chassis.

Fixing the crystal strand tissues, replacing limbs and other appendages, creating and fitting in replacements to the broken pieces of the armor, configuring the newly replaced limbs to suit the silhouette knight and etc.

"If I see anyone slacking, you'll get my entire leg up your ass!" The head of the silhouette knight engineering division shouted as e raise his hand and pointed it towards everyone.

He had a pretty bad mood, I mean, he literally had a ton of work to deal with now that almost every single one of the silhouette knights were barely operatable, not until he was met with Guair, which was destroyed inside out.

"What the hell happened here?!!" He shouted in utter frustration as he saw the inner-workings of Guair all twisted and destroyed. "Tehee~" Ernesti smiled wryly. "Tehee, te nandayo!"

<{-I'm back..... with one chapter..... with 1592 words..... tehee~! Tehee, te nandayo! HAAHAHAHAHA, good joke, at least for me. Don't worry book is not dropped, just having very busy student life.-}>
