"Come on Rebecca you can do this but you have to push harder okay ". Rebecca Nicklin has been pregnant for seven months now and it looked like today was finally the day to "drop the load "-at least that's what she called it-and she was both happy and worried . Earlier this morning she was sitting cross legged on the couch eating Nacho chips whiles watching 'How to do it mom' on the big screen. It was her favourite TV show that she watched every single morning to prepare herself for the battle ahead; the battle of parenting and not just any parenting but a good one,maybe an excellent one who knows. She got up to get to get a glass of water when she felt something trickling down her thighs. Immediately, she realized it was her water which hsd broken. This being her first pregnancy,she stood there completely frozen not knowing what to do but the pains of Labour told her to scream for James,her husband who was busy in the kitchen and now here she is, in St . Allans hospital pushing what seemed to be her entire being. She pushed with all her might and felt the baby come out. "You've got a girl" the nurse announced. Rebecca was excited but too tired to get up. It was almost as if the "load" was still there. She tried to get up but a nurse standing by gasped and pushed her gently back onto the bed."I see another head "she declared. Rebecca couldn't believe her ears. 'Another head as in another baby? But none of the scans said anything about twins 'she wondered as she started pushing again. In less than five minutes, another cry was heard as the other baby came out.

"Twins! How lovely " the nurse said but poor Rebecca was already drifting off into silent slumber.

"Doctor how's she?" James asked as the doctor came out and they met in the hallway.

"They're all okay. There's no need to panick.We might even discharge her today. She is a strong woman "the doctor answered.

"But doesn't the baby need to be put in an incubator first since it's not fully nine months developed? "

"You mean babies. You've got twins Mr.Nicklin.Congratulations. However they will not be put in the incubator because they're strong enough to breathe on their own"

"Twins?" James asked confused

"Yep. Two strong beautiful girls"

"But none of the scan results said we were going to have twins".

"It didn't? I'm sorry sirdor the inconvenience but it happens like that sometimes although very rare "

"It's not your fault Doc,I think I went in too hard that night and now I've got twins "

The nurse giggled and asked for permission to leave and work on the discharge papers of Rebecca. "You can go and see her now. She's in ward 22". She disappeared down the hallway and James left to go check on Rebecca. He counted the doors and when he found it,he entered and saw ger sitting on the holding one of the babies with the other one in a cot by the bed.

"Twins huh?"He said ad he fully entered the room and sat on the bed.

"Looks like it's gonna be more work than we expected. "Rebecca said and laughed.

"Yes but we will do it together right? As a team "James said and held her hand and she nodded. There was a knock on the door and a nurse entered.

"Mrs.Nicklin,you can go home now, you're discharged.
