"This is not right," Stefan muttered to himself. He was used to seeing valuable goods and all the things here could be said to have high prices, even the glasses that they drank from earlier were crystal.
"Yes, this is not right, she is trying to fool us," Gaia said grimly, as they walked toward the kitchen, while Stefan brought in the groceries that she had bought for Hazel. "She must be the mistress of the owner of this place. Yes, that must be it." Gaia nodded, agreeing with her own opinion.
She stared at Hazel, who was clad in pajamas and slippers. She looked carefree and relaxed. She didn't even care about being disowned by the Webster family. Moreover, Gaia hated the fact that she had the audacity to laugh at her twice earlier.
Meanwhile, Ella walked slightly behind Hazel, as she stared at her daughter with her brows furrowed, trying to understand the gravity of this situation.
