Ji Yujing bit her lip and instinctively looked at Ding Xuechun and Gui Zhenzhen.
Gui Zhenzhen frowned but didn't speak, while Ding Xuechun hurriedly said, "Yujing, you should listen to Xiaoxiao; what she said makes sense."
"Alright then, I'll leave the book here and come back later in the afternoon if I have time to check it out again," Ji Yujing said, finding an inconspicuous corner to tuck the book away.
Grandpa Zhai was standing at the doorway, holding a bowl of food. Seeing them come out with empty hands, he curiously asked, "Didn't find anything you liked?"
"Not yet, but we'll come back later if we have time," Su Xiaoxiao replied with a smile.
"If you're looking for something specific, let me know, and I'll set it aside if I come across it while collecting scrap," Grandpa Zhai offered enthusiastically.
"I'm looking for science and math books," Su Xiaoxiao didn't refuse the kind gesture.
