Chapter -18 Storm Eagles

As the army reached the battlefield, it became clear that the Zhao forces outnumbered the Qin troops. The sight of the formidable Zhao generals added to the daunting atmosphere.

As the battle unfolded, Zhao positioned 60 thousand troops on the left flank and 20 thousand on the right flank, while Qin had 40 thousand on the left flank and 10 thousand on the right flank.

Amidst this tense setup, General Mou Bu initiated his charge into the battle, setting the stage for fierce combat.

Meanwhile, Commander Ouki entrusted a critical mission to the Shin unit, now named the Hi Shin unit. Their objective was to infiltrate the blind side of Fuu Ki's army and target the enemy general.

On the left side of the Zhao forces, Shou Mou aggressively charged into battle, attacking the peasant soldiers. Amidst the chaos, two soldiers in armor intervened, ordering the peasants to retreat. As the peasants withdrew, the two soldiers lifted their bows and aimed arrows at Shou Mou's back.

Reacting swiftly, Shou Mou dodged the arrows, but his movement nearly caused him to lose balance. The two soldiers, on horseback, mocked him, calling him a "giant fat pig of Zhao."

Enraged by their insults, Shou Mou retaliated by charging at the soldiers. The soldiers, still taunting him, spurred their horses in a specific direction, leading Shou Mou on a pursuit through the battlefield.

Three thousand of Shou Mou's soldiers followed him obediently, while he directed the rest to move towards the right side of the Qin army. Lin observed the upcoming enemy army with Jun, remarking, "Some people's thinking capabilities plummet when they're enraged."

Shou Mou and his soldiers reached an entrance to the jungle on the battlefield, spotting Qin flags through the bushes on the left side. "These Qin monkeys don't know how to hide in ambush," Shou Mou scoffed. "Soldiers, go to the right side."

"If an arrogant fool underestimates us and thinks of our enemies as monkeys, they'll surely fall into our traps." Lin continued his explanation.

As Shou Mou advanced toward the right side of the jungle, sudden noises were heard, causing him to halt his charge and scan the surroundings. Then, without warning, the ground began to shake. Suddenly, the earth collapsed, revealing a massive ditch lined with long spikes.

Lin emerged before the ditch, and a hand slowly rose from the depths. Shou Mou struggled to stand on the ground, his body heavily wounded by the spikes. He glared at Lin. "You Qin fools, do you think you can stop me? I will kil—"

Before he could finish his sentence, arrows pierced his body, causing him to fall. "Shut up, you idiot fat pig" Lin commanded. He raised his arm, and a swarm of arrows descended like rain upon Shou Mou and the soldiers trapped in the pit. After confirming that no one survived, Lin planted a flag on the site and they left.

The rear army arrived and witnessed the scene, observing the flag that read "Leylin of Storm Eagles." News quickly spread throughout the camp that on that day, both Shou Mou and Fuu Ki's generals were taken down by Shin of the Hi Shin Unit and Leylin of the Storm Eagles.
