Chapter - 7 Wei HQ

As the group waited, Duke Hyou's cavalry began executing his orders, clearing the path of chariots to push through the enemy lines. The cavalry's arrival at the frontlines helped stabilize the situation, boosting morale and preventing further losses among the troops.

Meanwhile, Shin charged forward on his horse, heading towards the direction of the Baku Koshin cavalry unit. The Baku Koshin argued with Heki, convinced that Duke Hyou had a plan that wouldn't waste lives needlessly. Despite the concerns of other generals, Duke Hyou's bold and reckless approach propelled him towards the hill, determined to take decisive action.

Watching Baku Koshin race towards the Wei headquarters on the hill, other generals sighed at his recklessness. Ley Lin observed these developments keenly and also noticed another hill in a different direction, where a silhouette of a general on horseback was visible with another man. He inwardly smiled, waiting for an opportunity.

As Baku Koshin's unit charged up the hill, he ordered the cavalry to press forward along with Shin's group. Despite the barrage of arrows from the defending Wei soldiers, the Baku unit persisted and reached halfway up the hill.

As they advanced further, the archers of the Kou Ri Gen of Ten Bows and Ri Gen released a flurry of arrows, targeting Baku and the young boy advancing towards the headquarters. The situation became increasingly dangerous as the arrows rained down upon them.

As an arrow pierced Baku Koshin's heart, Shin swiftly moved to defend him, only to have another arrow strike his horse. Disregarding his fallen mount, Shin bid it farewell and charged towards Ri Gen. Suddenly, a cloud of smoke billowed from the Wei headquarters, accompanied by the sight of Wei flags falling. Soldiers and Ri Gen turned to see what had happened, just as Shin reached Ri Gen and swiftly dispatched him with a decisive blow to the head. The Baku unit seized the opportunity created by the confusion to eliminate their enemies.

Amidst the clearing smoke, Baku, Shin, and their comrades approached the headquarters. Inside, they found a group of five people seated calmly amidst the chaos. The head of the Wei general, Kyuu Gen, lay on the ground, surrounded by fallen soldiers.

"Took you so long to come here, General," Ley Lin remarked confidently as he looked at the unit led by Baku.

The members of the Baku unit, including Shin and Baku Koshin, were all visibly shocked that a group of young fighters had managed to successfully infiltrate and neutralize an enemy general's headquarters. Ley Lin's calm demeanor and audacious comment underscored the unexpected nature of their achievement, leaving the seasoned warriors of the Baku unit astonished at the prowess displayed by this youthful group.
