After the history of religion class concluded, Valeron and Arthur, along with their group of friends, left the lecture hall and made their way to the academy's cafeteria. The warm sun bathed the courtyard in a gentle glow, providing a serene atmosphere for their conversation.

As they strolled together, Arthur, now more alert than before, turned to Valeron with a curious expression. "So, Val, you never really answered my question from earlier," he began. "Where have you been these past few weeks? You've been even scarcer on campus than a hermit in a sandstorm."

Valeron sighed and looked ahead, his tone more serious than before. "I've been off-campus, Arthur, dealing with some personal matters. But I'm back now, and I'm ready to pick up where we left off."

Alyssa, who had been walking beside them, couldn't resist joining the conversation. "Personal matters, huh? You're being all mysterious on us, Val."
