Chapter 32: Honor Among Thieves

Valeron heads to the training grounds after finishing his lunch. He intends to practice his footwork, but when he arrives, he's met with an unexpected sight: Tristan appears to be practicing Valeron's technique. Fuming with outrage, Valeron storms toward Tristan and confronts him.

"What the hell is going on here, Tristan?" Valeron's voice quivered with a mixture of anger and disbelief.

Tristan, who had been engrossed in his practice, looked up with a raised eyebrow. "You'll have to be more specific for me to understand what you mean, Val."

Valeron's frustration boiled over as he pointed an accusing finger. "Why in the world would you be practicing my technique? It's right in the wording, my technique!"
