Kill Lucifer's Daughter

The world is silently being attacked by demons and hiding it behind the 'ozone' curtain to avoid panic. They have come up with academies that train certain citizens how to track, capture and kill these demons. After all, it is their fault, they opened a pathway for these murderous creatures. What they don't know is that, one of their trainees is the reason these demons are on earth, searching for her...to drag her back to hell. For if the runaway demon, Habos(Ivy) does not return, heaven will have to intervene and destroy her. She is an abomination, the daughter of Lucifer. He mated a human, which is against all divine rules. But hell seems to have lost it's grip on Ivy, and heaven has already assigned one of their own to end her... Angel Samael, the Venom of God.

Part 8.

"Why are you saying these things to me?" My voice was full of hurt. It made no sense why a handler would fill these lies in my head. What was his aim?

HL released me in a violent ruffle before taking a step back. "Turn around!"

I hesitated, looking up at him through my moisturized eyes.

"Those scars on your back, how did you get them?"

My gaze fell on his shoulders while my memory juggled. "I...I don't know. Dad told me I was in a nasty car accident, that is how I lost my memories."

"Habos!"

I locked eyes with him. His tone had cooled, so had the anger that had been blazing in his eyes. "What?"

"Habos Morningstar. That, is your real name. And these scars-" he said reaching out a hand to me. Slowly, he tugged the hem of my gray top out of the combat pants and crawled his fingers all the way to my back.

Tension brewed every inch he touched. And he never stopped till the hand was feeling my scars. "You cut off your own wings when you flew from hell. You knew that without them you would live like a mortal and could escape punishment from heaven."

The hand continued feeling around as he went on with the narration. "Since you're half human, you chose to use that as a ticket to staying on earth. You even had the idea of coming here as the little human girl you were four hundred years ago when we bound you in hell."

"You're lying," I breathed gazing into the depths of his eyes.

The air between us had long calmed, which was a good sign. A part of me wanted to deny his words, yet, a better part of me felt that he was speaking the truth. The mystery behind my scars, the bracelet that never came off for years, the strange burn it had been doing of late, the loss of my memory. His revelation was providing me with all the answers I had seemed for so long.

"You need proof?"

"Yes!" I whispered placing a hand on his chest to feel any change in his heartbeats if he lied. "Am I really a demon?"

HL put on a smug retreating his hand.

"Yes, Habos Morningstar."

Steady!

I swallowed hard.

"What are you?"

The smug vanished too quickly.

"The Angel that will send you back to where you belong!" There was a slight change in his heartbeats.

I took back my hand. "Ha! That there, was a lie."

HL snorted looking away for a millisecond. When we made eye contact again, a sudden blow of wind slapped me on the face as two huge white 'things' sprouted from his back out of the blues. I cowered away, feeling the impact of those 'things' in my soul(if I had any). There was a sense of peace and belonging the more I stared at them. They made me want to throw myself at his feet and worship him.

He wasn't lying.

He was an Angel, or as divine servant as it could get.

"I must be dreaming."

"Indeed you are." HL stepped closer then covered both of us with those majestic wings like a cocoon. Some light fell on them from outside, and they lit up in a warm glow. "Dreaming that you can live on earth as one of them. You belong in hell with the rest of your kind."

"You just said that I'm half human. Doesn't that give me the right to live amongst humans as well?"

His face dropped to the most clueless expression I had ever seen. My question created a deep impact that it had him backing and tucking away his wings.

A single glance is all he offered before turning to leave.

"Wait!" I called and he stopped. "What is your real name?"

"The Venom of God." It was all he said.

What it meant? I had no idea.

I entered the room, and every one of them glared towards me.

Carlos got up from his bed that was at the second corner. He wore an angry mask, his eyes throwing daggers at me.

"Where were you?"

"Um...the, library. Why?"

Paul raised his hand from the bed above Carlo's. "I was there and you weren't!"

My eyes jumped from the curious faces.

"A girl just died Ivy! Slayed coldly by a demon and you thought it would be wise being by yourse-"

"I wasn't alone!" I blurted annoyed.

They exchanged glances then back on me.

"Pray, tell us," Carlos probed crossing arms over his chest.

They were all waiting for an explanation. It made me feel cornered. But they were only concerned, it was one for all and all for one, no member left behind.

"Our handler needed my help."

And by help I mean revealing to me that I'm the devil's daughter and he's a damn Angel whose name makes no sense.

"HL?" Zoe squeaked springing up from Paul's lap. "Why would he ask for your help of all the members in our unit?"

I rolled my eyes shutting the door with the heel of my foot so I could access my bed with no obstacle.

My bedmate, Jane, was quietly busy with her laptop, eyeing me only once. I loved how she kept her nose out of my business

As I untied the boots, the bracelet trapped my attention...demon binder!
